JMich: Well, I wasn't paying that much attention in the ungoogleable trivia part of the game, but I do think it dragged RVS for quite a bit. We should be out of RVS by the end of the second 50-post page at the latest. At least I hope so...
I hate to muddy the waters with a bunch of facts....But the trivia part was during Twilight, therefore it was a Non-Voting period. The thread was left open during Night 0 simply to help bolster interest. So your allegation of dragged out RVS is invalid.

Will you be continuing this disinformation campaign or was this a momentary lapse??

Popping out to visit my folks people - back tomorrow night (in RL, this is!)

Seem to still be in RVS, so all should be ok and I wont miss owt

(RVS = Random Vote Stage, if anyone didn't know - I'm sure everyone did though?)

Cryptoclaiming, as I understand it, is a form of claiming in some sort of code. Informing those who know the code of your role without the others noticing. Therefore it is basically cheating. I think no one would do this, because it spoils the fun. I mainly included this rule because it is one of the meta-rules valid for any Mafia game here on GOG according to the Admin thread.

Lets try to move this thing along before someone dies.

What do we know?
-15 players, some subset of whom have some form of abilities. Possibly temporary (maybe x shot).
-25% of 15 is 3.75. So we're probably looking at 3-5 traitors (20% - 33%), with 4 holding closest to the 25% number.
-Not much warning before night, get your act together for voting.
-Yog Slothovich was killed first. He probably had it coming, though.

People who have voted (all stated reasons seem to mean nothing):
-Me -> Sage

Here's my reckless speculation...

Since the key to the game seems to be these toxic emissions and the fact that some of us are seemingly immune to these effects, I suppose the following:

Those most likely to create their own toxic emissions have probably been building up an immunity. As such, I would think that anyone showing a love of dairy products (such as milk or cheese) are at a far greater risk of being monolith scum. Same would go for those who enjoy beans or broccoli...

From the OP I'm more inclined to suspect that abilities may shift overnight from one player to another, or just appear/disappear. Maybe from a set pool of possible powers.

I am more concerned about this line from the OP:

"Some of you have been secretly converted and want to bring the heart back to the Monolith!"

There is a word in there that makes me uneasy, but another word that might mitigate it. The words are 'converted', and 'some' respectively.

As for the idle speculation on how abilities may or may not work? I am not a fan at this stage.
