While everyone retreats into the shelter, all the while still discussing who might have been corrupted by the Monolith, Hypersomniac instead goes to the edge of the camp to take a leak. Unfortunately he hits one of those electromagnetic anomalies and a painful jolt hits him right where it hurts. His startled scream and a loud string of unspeakable curses can surely be heard for miles! "Maybe," he thinks to himself, while carefully retreating from the anomaly, "Maybe I should return to the others, where it is safer than out here alone!"

I'm in the process of catching up and will return when I'm done. I may also need to take another leak by then, hopefully an uneventful one this time. ;-)

I did and my therapists all added to my delusions of grandeur.

But back to the game.

I really am still on the fence with IX. I do not have him squarely as scum. To me right now, he reminds me of someone who got him self stuck in a bad spot and has kinda given up. Though last game I was scum and when the votes were against me I did not want to say anything wrong to push the votes so I stayed quiet. This could be the same thing.

That sounds horrible. :( I totally understand how that might take precedence over, well, everything else.

My concern was more that she had let something slip from a game-related private chat or QT. While I don't think she is underhanded or a cheat, I do think mistakes like that can happen.

We'll miss you, but just take care of you and yours ... and stay awesome! :)

As for the game itself....

I have been watching the wagon build on Ixamyakxim the last few days with interest. It has formed with a particular rapidity, but I don't feel he has been hugely scummy. Particularly, his reaction to his forming wagon seems especially pro-town to me (as opposed to his reaction in the last game).

While I think it might be too late in the Day to do any good, and Ixamyakxim's lynch might be a done deal at this point, I am going to put my vote on someone who I actually do believe is scummy and might still have a chance of getting lynched:

Nice, I have 4 votes from the scummiest people in the game. Not one of you have offered any reasonable explanation for how we can know the word "loyal" is in the town PM. You all seem to ignore this.

Ixam not scummy? He's just been trying to build a case exclusively on people arguably confirmed as town. Wouldn't that be a boon for scum. Lynch one of us today, kill another tonight and then town can go, well I guess you guys were right while most of us are dead and gone and our small advantage is mostly gone.

Bookwyrm627 used the term 'loyalist' for some reason. It, nor its root word, are used anywhere publicly in relation to this game, as you have noted previously. So, he either totally made the term up out of the blue, or he used a word from his PM. Which do you think is more likely?

I am not surprised at the rapidity, but I also know that these sort of speed-wagons in Day 1 usually result in a town lynch. How long have you been playing this game?

I am not sure why dedoporno's wagon stalled. He could be scum and his scumbuddies didn't jump on, or he could be town and scum decided that he wasn't juicy enough or has some other reason. Either seems plausible.

A question I think is better is: Why didn't my wagon catch on? There are plenty of people who claim I was, and am, on the top of their scum-list, but none of them ever voted for me. This is very curious to me.

I think you are being intellectually dishonest. Clearly the reason Dedo's lynch stalled is the town tell situation. For you to claim you do not know...now that is a lie.

Huh? The 'town tell' situation is one of the major reasons I voted for him! He voted for trentonlf for voting for Bookwyrm627, shortly followed by Robbeasy. I thought it might have something to with Bookwyrm627's word choice so I applied a vote to learn more. Once it was made public and the weakness of the tell was made evident, I am surprised more people didn't vote for dedoporno or Robbeasy, quite frankly.

Out of curiosity, what alignment do you think trentonlf is most likely to be? He voted for Bookwyrm627, which made dedoporno and Robbeasy immediately jump on him, but he was also the first to point out the discrepancy between 'loyalist' and the word he has in him PM.

I guess I didn't word my question clearly enough. I do remember the discussion about powers possibly shifting, so my question is what made you think that it would be happening in the open.


Do you really think that was the case? I'd like to think that a mod would not word his announcements or statements with the intent to meddle with any discussions taking place. So, I'm inclined to think that his announcement here did not have the intention to make things harder for us; perhaps it just means that the term "loyal" or/ and any derivatives are in all PMs in one form or another.

This does not mean that I necessarily consider Bookwyrm627 scum(my), just that I'm not sure what the actual value of the tell is right now.


You really are trying your best to get on people's scum list, don't you? I have to agree with trentonlf on this one, and your later explanations sound like you realised you had to paint it in a better light after being called on it. Even then, you play the "No Lynch is bad" card a bit too hard. It doesn't make you look good, and you got my attention.


Could you explain what exactly it is about his reaction that makes you think it's pro-town?


I'm surprised that RWarehall's repeated hints didn't stick out to Robbeasy. I also find it interesting that he insists on his other reasons for having Bookwyrm town, even after the reveal, but still refuses to share. I wonder if he actually did pick up on anything, or is just saying so to appear town while actually being scum.

JMIch seems oddly disinterested in what's happening with Ixamyakxim and RWarehall; he stated he's bored and apparently still is as apart from a brief comment about Bookwyrm's post about finishing off dedo, he's more involved in going back and forth with HijacK about previous games.

I'm not sure what to make of Krypsyn's explanations about his earlier vote on dedoporno. I admit that him stating that he's worked in politics makes me hesitant to take anything he says at face value.

Ixamyakxim behaviour is strange, and I'm not sure if he actually doesn't see why people vote on him. In his latest exchanges with dedoporno it almost sounds like he's hinting at an investigative role that he won't be able to make use of since he's so close to being lynched.

I'm looking at the votes-movement, and it looks like most of the crowd that was on dedoporno on Mar. 6 is now on RWarehall.

As for RWarehall voting on Ixamyakxim and coming back with an argument later, I'd like to remind us all that flubbucket did the same thing when he voted on dedoporno, yet no one batted an eye at the time except for dedoporno.

I caught that. I didn't have him leaning any way prior to that. It was a bit presumptuous of Dedo to have expected everyone to catch that. I certainly did not plan on joining that wagon merely on that. And his reveal showed knowledge, yes. I plan to go back and make sure he was the first, but if so, yes, I find him town.

I just don't find this as weak as you claim. It is an unusual word to describe town. I can't imagine a scum, not knowing if that word is present in the PM or not, taking a chance on that word. That's how I see it, and I don't see how you seem to think Dedo is a scum target after its pretty much been shown what he said IS true!

I call them like I see them. You are taking my argument and conflating it with a similar but entirely different argument that is easier for you to poke holes in. This implies that my actual argument is not one you are willing to actually debate.

Because I think it was an easy leap for someone guess that Bookwyrm627 used the word 'loyalist' because it was in his PM. It is the simplest answer, after all. So, scum could easily just wait for someone to voteBookwyrm627, and then jump on the voter to gain town credibility. Dedoporno never did state why he did it after all; he waited for someone else to bring it up before "confirming" it.
