Lifthrasil: Krypsyn - 1 (Sage)
Oh, I forgot to mentioned this. This is the second time you have Sage voting for me, but I think she unvoted me in post 261. Did she revote me and I missed it? I can't find that post if so.

avatar
dedoporno: What do you mean by this? Which situation exactly? Unbalance it how?
I explained it in the next paragraph (but probably not very well). I had a suspicion, and still do, that either you or Robbeasy is scum. I figured if I voted in a suspicious manner, I might get you guys, and possibly others for added benefit, to react in a way that might clear things up for me. I wanted to see who went for the low hanging fruit of someone 'acting odd' in lieu of more solid and defined reasons. That was the reason I was so terse with my replies, and part of the greater reason of voting for you.

In the end, while there was some rhetoric and some half-hearted rebukes of me, there was on one vote by RWarehall placed on me. So, while a little useful, this part of my vote was not hugely successful.
Someone(s) is probably going to label this as excuses, and I can't blame them for that.

I thought my last post was just pointing out the obvious (just enough people haven't voted to finish dedo). Last game, there was a lot of talking (ranting) about how bad no lynch is for town, and I decided to check votes, see who hadn't voted yet, say the obvious, and that I will not be voting for dedo at this time. He looks too town for me to vote for him atm.
To clarify: (just enough people haven't voted to finish dedo) means (there are just enough people that haven't voted that they can finish dedo).

Ooops. You are right. That changes the:

Vote count

Ixamyakxim - 5 (dedoporno, adaliabooks, CSPVG, RWarehall, Robbeasy)
dedoporno - 3 (TwilightBard, JMich, Ixamyakxim)
HijacK - 1 (Bookwyrm)
Bookwyrm - 1 (HijacK)

with 15 alive it takes 8 to lynch
Ixamyakxim is closest to lynch at L-3
Not voting: Sage, trentonlf, flubbucket, Krypsyn, HSL

Robbeasy: .......................

@ Flubb - its a safe-ish assumption i think - last game was highly unusual in many ways, and the flavour of this game doesnt really give us anything which leads us to believe they can talk in the day as well - we are ALL cooped up in one place, remember?

.......................
That's fine. I'll concede we are all cooped up and therefore the Night Phase will allow mafia to talk.

I just tend to look for proof of something so as to stifle any tunnel vision or assumption on my part where possible.

TwilightBard: *Grabs a stick, debates on who to start poking with it.* Hopefully I won't be very unlucky in this game <.<
Hope you are back and ready to play. What is your opinion of all that is going on?
Judging from GoG's time statement on Lift's "timer start" post, we have about 24 hours remaining, after which the emission/night could occur at any time.

Ixamyakxim feels scummy enough to me that I'm willing to cast a vote on him. I assume people feel roughly the same about No Lynch this time around as they did (at first, anyway) in the last game.

Unvote Hijack.

Vote Ixamyakxim.
See now this is how a train DOESN'T stall!

If dedo is town, keep an eye on Krypsyn. I fully expected him to jump off dedo and perhaps on to me but he is too experienced a player to make such an obvious move. In all likelihood the "late scum" that would have hammered or near hammered dedo jumped in early on me (so watch out for an early player on me that wasn't on dedo). Also watch out for a late vote on me that might have been on dedo early.

If dedo IS scum, keep an eye out for people that weren't on dedo (or were on him and backed out early) but ended up on me.

Regardless, someone figure out for sure where dedo stands.

flubbucket: Reading is fun-da-mental. Look at post #1.
It says it's my own topic and I can use constantly, which I did - to talk to you guys. I wasn't aware recruits may eventually join in.

avatar
Robbeasy: Therefore I have him leaning Town as well, as I don't think he would have the gonads to try something like that (sorry Dedo..;)
No worries. I'm not one to make super risky and crazy plays and hope for the best. At least not when I have other options available.

Ixamyakxim: If dedo is town, keep an eye on Krypsyn.
He is my very next suspect. Anyway, it feels like you are not going to defend yourself in any way, considering you gave what seems to be last minute instructions. Why is that?

dedoporno: Anyway, it feels like you are not going to defend yourself in any way, considering you gave what seems to be last minute instructions. Why is that?
Mainly because I'm not exactly sure why people are voting on me. I tend to make my observations. People either find them valuable or scummy. I can't really change that.

Well, do you honestly believe that "he lied about refreshing" and "not in the spirit of the game" is an acceptable reasons for placing a vote?
avatar
dedoporno: "not in the spirit of the game" is an acceptable reasons for placing a vote?
Yes. But that should only tell you just how strongly I feel about GOTCHA! games with mod-PMs ("Ah ha! We know the Mod PMed "the" group instead of "a" group to Town - you must be scum!")

And you slightly misrepresent my vote for Robb - my issue was it seemed more like a rehearsed excuse to cover up two scum trying to play a loud game. As if he knew your post's contents, and addressed it while pretending not to have seen it / known about it in advance.

The contents of Robb's post read to me like so: "I didn't see dedo's post, wow I know it looks like we're scumbuddies because of it!" It seemed like a canned and planned way to diffuse the inevitable cries of scumbuddies; that you vehemently defended him after raised my eyebrow even more.

While it still seems possible, right now I think the focus really should be on the two trains that formed.

And like I said before, I hope someone out there has the means to test you as I think that might be a valuable thing to know.
avatar
Ixamyakxim: And like I said before, I hope someone out there has the means to test you as I think that might be a valuable thing to know.
I hope so, as well.
avatar
JMich: You are who said it. Let me quote you (again)
Nope.

avatar
JMich: Let me bold it for you as well.
Please do.

avatar
JMich: I couldn't recall any day one role claim fest, thus my curiosity. Nice to know that day one role claim fest means either 2 people claiming on day 1 or many people claiming on later days, neither of which is exactly what you said. No worries though.
But who exactly used the words claim fest and day 1 in the same sentence? It was you. And it was in fact a role fest in the beginning of day 2. What's your point again? Seems irrelevant to me and you only fill conversations with useless information while not really contributing with anything.

avatar
JMich: Yeap. Standard MO for me, haven't you realized it yet?
I didn't know I was supposed to pay attention.

avatar
JMich: 2) You continue to assume that your way of playing Mafia is the only way of playing mafia and refuse to consider someone may play the game a different way.
Ha, now when did I say that? Exactly never. Just because you have an assumption, erroneous like all which you had this game, it doesn't make it anything remotely close to a fact. Dare to quote the post where I said that as well?
avatar
dedoporno: Right now the scummiest person I see is Ix. Votes being placed for the flimsiest of reasons just for the sake of voting and his following arguments' only goal seems to be to push the most probable lynch to it's end.
Not defending anybody, but you in comparison to Ix have fairly weak reasons to give people town credit.

avatar
RWarehall: I'm still very suspicious of Krypsyn because of the way he has tried to completely minimize the value of that information. I cannot see how a rational person cannot see this. So I also believe he is scum.

Unvote Krypsyn
Vote Ixamyakxim
What the....? How does this make any sense?

"I think Kryps is scum-----> Vote Ix."

How does one go around making a post in which he justifies for the vote of someone, but votes for someone else entirely?
