I don't see a point in waiting any longer for sharing my observation, RWarehall kind of gave it away anyway, so I guess this is as good as it gets.
So, here it is. First, let's have a look at Bookwyrm's very first game post.
Bookwyrm627: ALRIGHT LETS DO THIS! LEEEEROOOOOOOYYYYYY JEEEEENNNNNKKKKKIIINNNNNSSSS!
As I understand it, now ensues the Wild Mass Guessing phase of the game. Since anyone that can come up with
this simply must be evil,
Vote Sage103082 .
I am, of course, a loyalist, etc. etc. etc.
(Man, now I wish I had a preview button, to make sure this looks right)
Pretty much random nonsense, but there is one very specific thing that caught my eye instantly.
I am, of course, a loyalist, etc. etc. etc.
Interesting choice of words. People usually will refer to themselves as Town, townie or other such derivatives. "Loyalist" is oddly specific. Especially when it's not part of the OP. What is part of is my own PM (and I'm guessing everyone who is a Clear Sky operative).
Of course, I don't fully discard the possibility of scum guessing this, since their own PMs may include the term, but still, way too specific to pass by. And, like so many people already said, we don't have much to work with, so even the smallest things are useful.
So, what I was able to take out from all of this is the following:
- Bookwyrm is almost certainly Town.
- So is RWarehall.
- Just a bit less certain for Robbeasy, since we already gave a couple of hints when he "picked up" (including Lift, who tried to smudge things up with one of the flavor intermissions :D)
There are another two people who I suspect should be on our side as well, but the reason there is way too flimsy to give them more credit. For now I will keep it for myself, but will share prior to my potential lynch, if this goes on.
In addition I'm not too fond of Ix's entry. Calling Robb a liar because of the presented reason and placing a vote on him (and I'm pretty sure we are out of RVS now) doesn't sit well with me, especially when I see Robb as leaning Town.
I don't like Sage's posts too much as well - a bunch of words, but not too much of value. We had this last game.
One of her last posts there still rings in my head. Hijack also feels odd. He usually pushes aggressively and uses decent arguments, but this time that doesn't seem to be the case. Scum's easiest pray are usually new players who may believe they are doing us a favor, but actually making mistakes (I know, since I've been there myself). Bookwyrm is more or less in that situation and it's doubt only townies are picking on him.
We'll see.
So, that's that.
