I have had to uninstall GOG several times from my computer because it lags my computer so bad!!!! WHY IS THIS GAME TIED TO SUCH A HORRIBLE SERVICE???.... I aqm running a Nvidia GFORCE 980 6 GB grafics card and a Diablo Canyon Intel i7 processor with 32 GB of RAM.. my system is not the problem....

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!

That's DRM for you :) And software. Software is a disaster.

1. Download the "offline backup installer" from the game page (scroll past the enormous Galaxy default download and squint hard, then you can find this option). It is just something you click and will download via your browser.

2. Double click and run the offline backup installer, it will be the set up for the game.

3. Play :)

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed that they are, in fact, talking about a game that is tied to Galaxy somehow. ;)

I knew what you were getting at, haha. Using the offline installers doesn't "install GOG to your computer" so that seemed like a hint as to the OP's possible issue.
