Maybe you're not interested in/don't like these particular games, or you wish more were action shooters or whatever, but that's a seriously impressive run of "classics" for such a short timeframe, and would have been so even in any of GOG's early years.

Oh I did not know about that.

In the past month GOG brought out Swat 4 ,Emperor:Rise of the Middle Kingdom, the Laura Bow games from Sierra ,and the entire Delta Force series,and a few other Old Games.
Yes, I get a little tired of the constant Shovelware that GOG sells, but still, they bring out old games on a regular basis.

none of these definitions have old or even age as qualifier....

Nope, I thought that GOG still stood for [bG]ood Old Games, and that they mostly sold old games, with a few new ones. Instead, it's the other way around. The fact the GOG now longer is an acronym for Good Old Games anymore is sad.

Wiat? These are all old games? I thought they were indies with retro graphics.

Quick rundown of the current 2017 releases (since I finally got off my ass and updated).
60 releases, 29 of them at least 10 years old, 19 of them pre-2K. Limited sample, but only year so far with a better 10+ year old percentage was 2011, which was an excellent year in percentages, even though it only had 85 releases total.
Old games are still coming, and more or less in the same frequency as they always did. Newer games are coming at a much higher frequency, but the end result is just more games in total.

You raise a good point though. What is it with all those old DOS games trying to look like pixellated retro indie games from 2010? It is pretty lame that in the early 1990s the games were trying to mimic the graphics style of horrible 2010 indie retro games. Where's the originality in that?

1990 games should look like 1990 games, not some 2010 cheap retro indie games with pixellated graphics.
