"Braid is a puzzle-platformer, drawn in a painterly style, where you can manipulate the flow of time in strange and unusual ways. From a house in the city, journey to a series of worlds and solve puzzles to rescue an abducted princess."

I tweeted Jonathan Blow about Braid coming to GOG and this was his response:

"@Barry_Woodward Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list."

Six months later, I asked for an update:

"@Barry_Woodward Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid."

Vote for both on the wishlist:

ohwell...
Holy shit that's all i can say
I can see a storm coming over this forum...
Voted. Braid is one of the indie classics I still don't own.
A lot of games suddenly being rejected... Curious... Do you think they just want to control the inflow of games and they already have say 20 games lined up and they don't want to keep people waiting forever? And they also don't want to add too many too quickly and make the back-log too big either for people to get the games they really want...

@Barry_Woodward

Off topic but do you know anything about a GOG release of

World of Goo and Little Inferno ?

I don't. Both are great games that I've been hoping come here. For all we know, they too were rejected by GOG.

Vote for them:

Little Inferno
World Of Goo

But we got " high quality " ( aka good for Steam gamers under 12 ) games like Surgeon Simulator 2013 and Slender: The Arrival . I bet we will see Goat Simulator in here soon . :(
Oh great, my favourite puzzle platformer and one of my favourite games of all time was rejected too, wtf?
Braid is a masterpiece and a true piece of art.

World of Goo and Little Inferno aren't here either... so many of my favourite indie titles. :/

Thank God, GOG already has enough indie hipster platformers here.

Not surprised really. GOG's decisions are at times so random and incomprehensible to me that I seriously consider if their process for accepting games is merely throwing darts at a board labeled YES/NO.
gog is drunk again
