GOG used correct exchange rates for CAD from the moment it became available.

GOG has always used correct exchange rates for all currencies. Except for the regional prices, mostly Russian ruble, where it's actually cheaper. Never more expensive (without fair price package reimbursement).

Give a single instance where GOG gave a higher price in CAD, or any currency for that matter, than USD without reimbursing through fair package (rounding to x.99 aside). Because if you can't, then you're the one giving the "same old bullshit".

You may believe what you want, but simple primary school arithmetic can prove you wrong. I'm done explaining what has been repeated again and again by many members whenever these threads come up.

You're from the states. Simple arithmetic tells me you CAN'T KNOW or SHOULDN'T CARE what the exchange rate is in Canada in 2012. Also, I have receipts from gog at that time telling me you are wrong. I don't have to prove shit.

So, if you have the receipts, shouldn't be difficult to show to see who's right, right?

PS:

GOG introduced Canadian dollar in May 2016.
CAD exchange rate started going up in December 2014

So the last time it was up, ON PAR, there was no option to pay in CAD.

In fact, back in 2012 there were no currencies on GOG (Canadian, European, British or otherwise), no regional pricing and everyone paid same flat USD amount. But of course you "have receipts" of how GOG screwed you over. hehehe

I'll probably end up just waiting for a sale, and only if the extras included are decent. I've bought over 60 games on GOG, I'll end up buying more eventually... just not as much as I would like.
The problem isn't necessarily that you want lower prices; we all do, which is why a lot of people (myself included) are waiting for the next big sale just like you. The problem is that a lot of people have already asked about GOG's Canadian prices, and whenever we've tried to explain why they are the way they are, the usual response seems to be beliigerence and condescension.

The other issue is that this is related to the repeated argument that seems to crop up on a regular basis, which is that for GOG to even be viable (let alone successful), what they need to do is be completely like Steam (e.g. no curation like Steam, GOG should sell Steam keys, GOG should have a release schedule like Steam, GOG should have lower prices than Steam, etc.)
