New avatar I see, nice.
Lol, you're welcome.

And yes, this is my March avatar, for Saint Patrick's Day. I only recently started collecting different versions of Wile E Coyote for the holidays. :-)

thewitcherpotion: Gog or anywhere is the place to buy Vlambeer's games. He's an asshole sjw developer. Avoid anything he does.
You do realise that Vlambeer is an indie studio, not a person?

phaolo: Gog should demand the same updates as Steam in the contracts, otherwise so much for the curated store..
Kinda ironic.
And on top of there still has been no word when (if?) they'll ever issue the same patch to the GOG version of Luftrausers that's been on Steam for a while now. Supposedly the patch was intended to fix a game breaking bug near the end of the game.

I emailed them about a month ago with no reply. It's enough to make me avoid Vlambeer's game on GOG in the future and get them on Humble or on Steam.

Edit: My point about Luftrausers was already mentioned by the OP in their post, but it bears repeating again.

plagren: Their games don't get updated… but by supporting them I'd be annoying gamergaters.
Damn, that's a tough choice.
I personally don't see anything wrong with buying their games.

But are the DRM-free builds offered at Humble as up-to-date as the Steam versions? Or are they the same as GOG's?

If the latter, shame on Vlambeer (and a little bit on GOG for not defending the rights of its customers). But if the former, all the shame on GOG.

Damn right! Who needs updated games? That's soooo mainstream... /s

A studio run by an asshole sjw developer.
