I advise you to refrain from purchasing any EA games here (especially SPORE Collection) until GOG sheds some light on this situation.

Nothing surprises me with EA, though the fact the three newest EA games here (Dragon Age Origins, Mirrors Edge & The Saboteur) are all from 2009 tells me all I need to know about their long-term attitude.
Is this some new EA tactics to continue sell their games here while not listing (encourage sales here) them. If EA sell their games here then GOG is clearly allowed but i guess EA is no longer interested in remaining here especially after removing Ultima Underworlds and Syndicate but whatever, ***** them.

At this point i'm done with having anything to do with EA and anything associated with this ****** company even drm free games. There is no such thing as a perfect company but things like EA and Activison is so far beyond bad it's not even funny.

Nothing would surprise me, but to be honest, that CM may simply not know what they're talking about.
What the actual f**k?

Did EA just... forget they even had a contract with GOG? That would certainly explain why we haven't had any games from them in a while.

That occurred to me, but I'm guessing they're just getting their information from that second link which means that the person who wrote that list forgot about GOG.

I don't suppose GOG staff will comment here because transparency and competence are against their code, apparently.

Mmm, that's a good point. Maybe that's the thing though - is GOG the only place you can buy non-Origined EA games? I'm thinking this is a sign more EA games are going to be leaving GOG soon.

I suggest you take a look at "Source 2".

GOG is not on the list.
GOG should withdraw TW3 from Origin. Whatever the contracts say, how can they throw the entire store under the bus like this? This is potentially very harmful stuff.
My guess is everything older than 10 years is dead and as good as non-existent to EA, hence why they allow it to be sold on GOG but can't even be bothered to mention it on their website. GOG is their trash can. ;P

They wouldn't be the only publisher though who has games on GOG but only refers to Steam on their homepage. I don't have any examples off the top of my head now, but I've seen that before.

Speaking of which, I don't see Steam mentioned there either? And yet Steam sells EA games, too...

That guy is as helpful as sand in the desert, a complete numbskull. But the second link OHMYGODJCABOMB provided does back up his statement.

Edit: Or maybe his predecessor? One of them wasn't helpful in the slightest and didn't get anything right. :P
Edit 2: After some looking around, yeah, it's definitely him. :P

most of the older ones are origin free on steam - and we all know EA dont really care about the older games. other than that I dont think theres anywhere else you can buy non drm'd ea games but gog.

Edit: of course I;m not including remasters or games that have only rececntly been released on steam despite their age.

The same CM had no problem with those suggestions regarding GOG a couple of months ago:

If anyone deserves this kind of push-back it's EA... but I'd like to see everything available everywhere, so that people can decide what their online distribution channels will be based on the actual value they bring, not on exclusives.

Building a wall, full with ditch and moat around your IPs, like EA is doing will ultimately hurt sales. As others have mentioned, I too have not bought an EA game in ages nor do I plan to until they change their approach (probably never).
