WTF, I thought shit was flammable!

JumpinJakF1ash: It affects GOG because i'm not buying games on here.

You're doing it wrong. You need more than a cigarette lighter. Try this:

I'd argue that buying games and installing them GOG is just easy, and its even easier when you want to reinstall a game in the future (a feature that is half-assed in Steam). And even if the games weren't cheap here as on Steam (if they ever are), the fact that the games are DRM-free takes away from me the price issue. I'm paying a good price for a game that I know it won't be taken away from me by being locked into an ecosystem with parts that are unreliable and bound to fail anytime.

And regional pricing isn't DRM at all. Digital Rights Management is anything that takes away your rights from your games or entertainment media in the name of protecting content from copyright infringement and piracy. Having different prices for games doesn't take away rights from your usage of the game.

I don't know about XBLN, but I thought that PSN codes can be found all around the internet for a price? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The thing that will bump up usage of GOG and force publishers to put their big cash on GOG is to have more paying customers buying titles from GOG and causing a bump up in their revenue that becomes so tempting for big players that they join in on the fun. All what matters is that people join GOG and make their minds here, and this'll advance GOG further up the stairway.
Cool story, bro.

JumpinJakF1ash: Being DRM free isn't enough of an incentive to buy from here
With a start like that... well, I didn't get any further...
On a serious note, I would like to point out to the OP that while there are completely DRM free games on Steam, the vast majority of them still require a running Steam client to play, and many of us simply don't have the reliable connection or bandwidth to do that.

What would you suggest we do?
Being DRM-Free is not enough, you may be right on that. But you're quite wrong on many other things.

a) Overpriced? Prices for most games are the same as other stores, for example if you buy Pillars of Eternity Hero Edition for 39.99e on Steam, it's the same on GOG. With one exception: GOG gives you store credit due to regional pricing, at their expenses nonetheless.

b) GOG's installers are better than other stores, why you may ask? They include fixes and improvements that come right out of the box, other stores (such as Steam) throw the game as it is and it's up to you if something is broken. You're new so probably aren't aware of such things.

c) Witcher 3's pre-orders (both digital and retail) were missing the Executable and it was only obtainable on release day, I would hardly call that DRM since you can play without internet or the need for any clients, you can't say the same for other high budget games, which force Steam/UPlay/Origin.

d) Most AAA games aren't on GOG because their developers/publishers are afraid of letting go off DRM and games with DRM aren't sold here, Take it up with them not GOG.

With that said, GOG is not perfect, no other store is for the matter, but it does many things right where others fail to. It's not crap, but different. If you think it's not worth your money you're free to buy from elsewhere.

So the community is negging my OP just because it doesn't kiss GOG's arse. Honestly, some of you need to sort your fucking lives out!...

It's an opinion, that's all.

No, they are negging you because you are an asshole. :D
There's a difference between having an opinion and being a complete jerk about it.

Some people just can't handle the truth about their revered GOG.

Sometimes your truth is other people's batshit. :)
Oh shit, he thinks he's Jack Nicholson.
So I just got back from starting a Steam account so I could post a "Steam Sucks" thread on Steam.

I did this because I believe my project was a genuinely unwasted use of my time.
