GOG is gonna turn 10 years old this coming August. The 1st, to be exact.
I wonder if there's gonna be a birthday bash at hq?

Anyways, a heads-up for people who care.
Lazy Game Reviews, long time fan of GOG and affiliate also recently celebrated an anniversary.

There are whispers on the winds of a renewed web interface.
No dude, GOG turned it up to 11.
It would be nice to optimize website and forum for mobile.
However I don't expect nothing like that anytime soon (or even soon™).
Games which came out when GOG started are now as old as Starcraft, Baldur's Gate and Half-Life were when GOG started...
I hope a little celebration !
Far out! It totally blows my mind that I even know some people WHO WERE NOT EVEN BORN WHEN GOG STARTED!

So if I go to ask those people "Do you remember the time when GOG didn't exist yet?", they are completely puzzled "Ummm, no? I thought it has existed forever."

Daaaaamn... Those 9 year olds probably can't wrap their tiny minds around what the world was like before GOG. It is like me trying to figure out what the world was like before TVs, moon rockets and flying cars. Probably something like in the western movies, with indians and all. (sorry, NATIVE AMERICANS, sheesh...)

I expect classic "we're shutting down, version 2.0" stunt. Although I remember we had some fun during 5th birthday celebrations.
It'll be officially Good Old GOG then... since the "oldie-line" is usually drawn at 10 years.

(though it blows my mind that games like FO3, Mass Effect and GTA IV are oldies...)
GOG will announce that they bought 20th Century Fox, Activision and Warner Brothers Interactive, just so they can release No One Lives Forever without any hassle.
Oh, God! Am I THAT old already!? :O

Anyways... on the topic: Long Live the GOG.com! Long Live the Goglodites! :D

You're trying to do what Porsche tried with VW? Reverse hostile-friendly takover?

First project will hopefully be "Witcher - The Roguelike". I'm still waiting for that. ;)
