It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

You raise some interesting points, but please clarify.
All I get is 2FA request through email?

But I am kinda annoyed however, GOG doesn't seem to understand 'remember this browser' feature. I have to relogin (and thus wait for 2FA email) many times.
"Not enough security" - some people
"Too much security" - some people

RIP GOG, time to die
You raise some absurd points, but please continue.
you seem mad :)
Never had any issues with logging in or 2FA on my end, and I love the “shitty, cheap games” they sell. I’d rather my account be over protected than under. If it’s so terrible, why are you here?

You can disable two-step login on the Login and security page.

You can also phrase support requests and criticism in a civil manner.

What are you talking about? Steam and Battle.net have MFA Apps and require MFA for every device. GOG only has a basic Email MFA, which appears to be IP-based, not device based.

If anything, I wish GOG had more security.

the answer to your question is: When it gets wet it will only get more transperant, but it idealy works better in moonlight.
Don't use it then. You obviously never used either platform because GOG has the same two factor authentication. You must be using a VPN or something that is making you use two factor every time.
I wondered if OP might have been talking about the infamous 'captcha cycle' that occurs during big sales and giveaways, but that is admittedly meeting them more than halfway

So you are advocating for bad security?

I personally think all sites everywhere should have as much security as possible ~within reason~.

The only times i see a required login or check is when I'm signed out, or trying to change profile settings like contact information or profile image. These seem reasonable, so i don't see the problem.
