Have you found good, but obscure games, here?
What game(s) you think don't receive the love they deserve?
Bad Mojo Redux
Psychonauts
Anachronox
Shadow Man
Nox
I'll put in a second vote for Nox. I'd never heard of this one until it appeared here and was very pleasantly surprised with it.

Lionheart:Legacy of the Crusader
Divine Divinity

Are another couple that I'll toss in. Although the complaints about the sharp reduction in quality during the second half of Lionheart are valid, it's still a pretty decent diamond in the rough.

Divine Divinity is fairly well known, but I don't feel it gets as much credit as it deserves sometimes.
Dragon Wars is a good game that not many people have even heard of.
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising - This is a 3rd-person perspective game where you can pilot multiple tanks and aircraft. It was very ahead of its time and should have had a sequel.

Redline – This was another interesting game. It's both a racing game and an FPS game. The player could exit the car at anytime. It's rough around the edges but still fun to play.

Rogue Trooper - In this game you play an alien super-soldier. It never got a sequel, but the gameplay was pretty good.
Even if it is free and everyone can get it, Tyrian 2000.

If this was for sale, it would be well worth 5.99 or even 9.99 because it is a vertically scrolling shooter that is not only easy to play, but has a lot of features to it that it is a shame it hardly gets mentioned in those circles.
Speaking of freebies, Treasure Adventure Game is a really cool little retro metroidvania platformer. It's a little rough around the edges (it was a freeware game made, I think, mostly by one guy), and is pretty difficult in parts (especially playing with keyboard controls), but but it's still a nice game.

Indeed, it's a pity its gameplay wasn't used much afterwards.

I don't know why but I really like that game, I even played through it twce after it was released on GOG after having already completed it twice before. My favourite part is unloading your gun as a turret, it was always very satisfying surprising your enemies that way.

Total Overdose: It's like a mexican GTA on crack. You have lots of weird power ups that added some fun to the gameplay.

Signal Ops: Rough around the edges but very unique gameplay. You control multiple characters with multiple "cameras" that have specific traits to perform certain solutions like the radio man that moves around an old school stationary radio, to a wrenchman (think burglar type) to a soldier and a spy. Very good atmosphere if you get into it, sadly I never finished it.

Project Eden: Again with the multiple characters but no multiple cameras, it felt more accessible than Signal Ops but no worse for that matter. Good atmosphere here too and while you end up pressing lots of levers and buttons it felt you were a detective team which I enjoyed, not too common in action oriented games.

Startopia: Some kind of alien management builder / society game that I have played way too little. I don't really remember anything specific other than that it had quirky mechanics that I liked. As I recal it's not too challenging, it's more of a relaxing experience. This seems to be more of a cult classic but appreciated by the people that found it but I think it's worth a mention so people can find it

Do you know if Total Overdose will run in a window? What engine does it use?

Also, does Signal Ops work with a kb+mouse or does it need a controller?
Startopia, you poor people who have overlooked and not played Startopia.

P.S. It's way better than gog's screenshots suggest.

Also as a side note, you guys have to play Devilmaycry 3, f**k it's legendary.

Viva Pinata, what a gem of a game. The very meaning of the word gem, not so hidden and not on Gog, but you guys overlooked it thinking it's some weird kids game didn't you? Didn't you?

IronArcturus: Do you know if Total Overdose will run in a window? What engine does it use?
According to wikipedia the engine is called . Regarding window mode, you actually created a [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/total_overdose_a_gunslingers_tale_in_mexico/windowed_mode]thread about in the sub forum and you got an answer using DxWind. I'm not sure what resolution you plan to play it in if get windowed mode working but there's a widescreen hack if you are curious as well. Also, be prepared that the menu sound is really loud for some reason and it doesn't change when you change volume in-game (I just got blasted when I tried using window mode, there's no in-game option).

Also, fellow member jacobmarner was actually a developer in this game, if you have any specific questions you could ask him.

I played it with a kb/mouse but I haven't tried with a controller, I was thinking of trying it with my Steam Controller the other day.

I forgot all about that post! :P

But I usually prefer the game to have a windowed-mode built in, since sometimes DxWnd doesn't work properly. I guess the game engine itself only runs in full screen.
Hitman: Codename 47, not hidden, but damn it's a gem of a game on Gog.

Freedom Force = Gem.

Tropico 3+ = Total gems.

Evil Genius = Diamond and saphire inlayed into platinum gem.

They are not so hidden, but gems nonetheless.

Normality, Realms of the Haunting, and Arx Fatalis didn't get much time in the spotlight back in their day (at least in the U.S.). Normality is a first-person adventure game with a pretty quirky setting.
Realms of the Haunting uses the same engine and features an interesting plot, and includes some non-traditional FPS combat as well as live-action cutscenes.
Arx Fatalis is an excellent first-person role-playing game with a lot of freedom of action and attention to detail.
Valdis Story: Abyssal City is a Metroidvania game with an excellent combat system, some pretty great boss fights, and a nice, colorful visual style.
Are we talking Obscure like Creatures, or Obscure like Rex Nebular?
