I'd at least report him and see if you can get any help that way.

But hey, thanks to you people now know not to trust or trade with that guy, so there's that!

I really hope you can get your game back! :)

Liberteer: Gonen32, since I went through scammer's hell few weeks ago and managed to return all of my keys, here's what I did.

1. Report the profile for scamming. You can find report button on everyone's profile page. Choose ''Attempted scammer'' or something like that. Bear in mind Steam support will probably not going to come back to you, mainly because they have one of the worst support systems in existence today. They're the only one who didn't get to me when Sailornite scammed me. GOG did, Humble Bundle did.

2. In case your key was part of Humble Bundle, contact their support (Humble Ninjas) and choose the option Account>Account Hacked or Compromised at https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Describe what happened and ask for keys to be revoked. Be sure to include name of stolen game, bundle it was part of and transaction ID from your Paypal account to prove you bought it for yourself.

All the best!
I did both, I hope they would bust him .

Best of luck bud! Humble takes at least 5 working days to get back on support requests right?

Yup, took them 7 days in total to resolve my ticket.
I have a rule of thumb.
"No forum activity means you send me key first."
For example in this thread I have traded with THK47 and siulebuo before without any concern (even if they went offline) because I knew they are not scammers as they have +REP in GOG Trading Thread!!!

Btw your condition reminds me of Becomelikewater/Bruceleeforever.
He taught me a good lesson about trust and honesty. :)

Lucky you!!!
I have encountered them 3-4 times.
And each time my experience was worse.

1. During Borderlands Bundle I sent them a ticket to ask about a technical issue which prevented me to buy bundle. Got response AFTER 3 days!!!
2. Sent them and devs a support ticket to Update Parallax DRM-free build.
Got some shitty response from Humble. Although thanks to devs DRM-Free build got updated within an hour after I got response from Devs.

UPDATE:

HB: "...Humble Bundle's Terms of Service state that game keys are meant for a user's personal use only and are not meant to be sold or traded on third party websites...In the future, to avoid a repeat of this situation we recommend purchasing directly from Humble Bundle rather than obtaining keys via third party trading/selling websites..."

(bruh. wat)

Me: "Hello, the key IS from Humble Bundle, purchased by me. I traded it with another user and not sold it. Please reread my post. "

HB: "I understand that it was bought from HB but please do not trade keys to avoid this kind of situation.

Can you send me the transaction ID for the purchase beginning with X so I can look that up for you? You can find it in your payment history on your payment account (PayPal, Google Wallet, Amazon Payments)..."

I think I'l just drop it. Their TOS are very unclear and I don't want to attract more attention to myself with the risk that I accidently broke any of them (does sub and then unsub to Humble Monthly every now and then for a specific game counts ?)

Actually, it is very clear: "except as otherwise specifically set forth in a licensor's end user license agreement, as otherwise agreed upon by a licensor in writing or as otherwise allowed under applicable law, distributing, transmitting, copying (other than re-installing software or files previously purchased by you through the Service on computers, mobile or tablet devices owned by you, or creating backup copies of such software or files for your own personal use) or otherwise exploiting the Products (defined below) in any manner other than for your own private, non-commercial, personal use."

trading is not own private use, and it is commercial. So yes, it is very clear. Even the FAQ:

"Can I sell or give away my keys?

Humble Bundle products are for personal use only. We do not allow selling or redistributing keys from your purchases. You can gift individual keys to friends using our gifting system, which you can read more about here.

You can also gift your friends whole bundles or Store items on our website by clicking the gift option at the end of your purchase.

Read the Humble Bundle Terms of Service"

is quite clear, so any trading is against the TOS and you are on your own for breaking it.

I keep posting that but you have more respect in here so we'll see if you have better luck.

I did read the FAQ but it wasn't clear to me if "trading" is another name for "sell in a 3rd party site" or just about giving the key to anyone other than yourself (the whole gifting thing Is even more unclear now because of that).

Again, it was a game for game trade, not game for money. And what if we said that we gifted each other games ? Still not clear enough imo.

Besides, does it mean that large number of HB users are TOS violators for trading ?

Trade is trade

Then there would not have been any scam. Gift is gift.

So why won't HB do anything ? Entire sites are based on trading and/or gifting (mostly) HB keys. It isn't some shady stuff on the darknet, seems like HB don't even cares.

I'm seriously asking.

Contact the site's owners and inform them of the TOS violation "or else.." , ban whoever they can find that trade keys.

Give them the information they are asking for, and it will get fixed. Others have done this before. Humble is just advising you, that you should be more careful and its not really their problem, but they do seem willing to help you this time. Else they wouldn't be asking you for the transaction ID. I read that as saying, "Don't make a regular habit of needing to contact us about this".

How can humble know which keys comes from them, are you suggesting they sit and monitor every single trade? Do you realise the manpower that would take? And they have contacted sites which have dealt with humble keys before. All they can do is tto ask he sites to take down the trade, and not do anymore in future.

For users? Let them know that trading is their own risk, and not supported by Humble, which they did in your case.
