You've got about twenty new GOG titles running past Kinguins front page (not that I bought anymore since Gog pulled the first one) selling for them half the price GOG does.

However I don't want to condone one company (for political reasons) attempting to sabotage another company on convenient account they believe those keys 'stolen.'

Gog could (and probably has) pulled some of my direct Gog purchases (for reasons we will never know since they don't leave any 'Dear Jon' letters) ....

You bought keys from a third-party key dealer which were bought with stolen credit cards. That is why those games were being sold for less than you could get them on GoG. When GoG was informed of the theft and the credit card did a chargeback, your keys were removed. The reason they were not all removed at once is likely because GoG was informed of the various thefts at different times.

Its a deal "too good to be true" and it was.

They did exactly what they should. YOU are an accomplice to theft. In most countries, possession of stolen property is a crime. Some day, the legal system will catch up to these cyber crimes.

MAYBE - TBH I don't know why they pulled this recent one. Key-bought yes, but there might be some other reason such as "Our GOG patrol was looking through your window with a GOG drone and saw that you had The Legend of Kay working in PCSX2 so we felt dirty letting you keep it in your library."

Not everyone checks their card activity daily to see if it was used for unauthorized purchases.
Not everyone automatically withdraws any suspicious charges they see without asking their family if they used their cards.
Time from unauthorized purchases to detection and action may vary up to a few months.

No, a private company cannot identify if a charge is legitimate or not, nor can a bank do so reliably. The owner of the card must do so themselves.

So GOG didn't wait until after the holiday sale to disable the keys, they disabled them as soon as they got notice. Not to mention that since they do not notify the user, it is possible that the key was disabled during the sale, and you didn't notice it then.

This would explain Wasteland 2 which I had to have G2A refund me for. I got it a month later during a GOG sale.

Well all this is adding up to is that GOG is under fire from crims and hackers because the other digi sites don't have this much heat on them.

What do you mean by "restore our library"? GOG doesn't have a way for a user to delete their games, they must go through support. I assume GOG also keeps a record of their transactions, and you could also keep a copy of your receipts, just in case.

As to why people may use GOG instead of other stores to buy stuff with skimmed CCs, I guess it also has something to do with GOG not requiring an address to use the CC, unlike Steam. So the card details are all that is needed.

Given that the keys on those shady sites you frequent would have to be bought on GOG in the first place, in order to be resold elsewhere, would you mind explaining how you think the key sellers make money by selling the keys for less than they bought them for?
