paladin181: All games are run using Cryobyte33's tools and a 4GB VRAM buffer unless otherwise noted.

Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
1.) Installed Galaxy through Steam, Run through Galaxy through Steam using the same prefix folder as Galaxy.
1.) Installed with Heroic Launcher, added to Steam as non-Steam game.
2.) GEProton7-43
3.) Default Settings, Run DX8 exe (add new exe in Galaxy, select the non DX9 one, make it default), install protontricks, install quartz and Lavfilters (to get videos runnnig properly)
4.) performs at 40-50 stably, 60 if you don't mind the occasional slowdown.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars
1.) Installed Galaxy through Steam, Run through Galaxy through Steam using the same prefix folder as Galaxy.
1.) Installed with Heroic Launcher, added to Steam as non-Steam game.
2.) GEProton7-43
3.) Run on low with medium textures and view distance. Could probably run higher, but I like it where it is.
4.) performs at 40-50 pretty stable.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------

The Outer Worlds
1.) Installed Galaxy through Steam, Run through Galaxy through Steam using the same prefix folder as Galaxy.
1.) Installed with Heroic Launcher, added to Steam as non-Steam game.
2.) GEProton7-43
3.) Medium settings, Low Shadows and view distance, 70% 3D resolution
4.) performs at 30 stably, 40 if you don't mind the occasional slowdown.
All games here have also been tested installing through Heroic Launcher and added to Steam as non-Steam games. Settings are the same. So my personal preference to have cloud saving with Galaxy aside, these work when run through Heroic as well.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
1.) installed via offline installer, added to Steam library
2.) GE-Proton7-49
3.) high settings
4.) 45 hz / 45 FPS (stable, even 60fps should be possible)

The Outer Worlds
1.) installed via Heroic Launcher -> added to Steam library
2.) GE-Proton7-47
3.) Low Settings with medium textures, 3D resolution at 66%
4.) 50 hz / 50 fps (quite stable)
Do any of the DLC's work for Outer Worlds work outside of the Epic store?
Or can those DLc's work w/ the Heroic Launcher going?

Sorry to say, that I do not own any DLC. The Heroic launcher offers the option to check the "download all DLC" box, so you should be able to play them... Perhaps user "paladin181" can confirm?!

All the best

If you got them on GOG, it appears they work. They show as installed in my game menu when installed through Heroic. I don't have the Epic version to test that one.
The Witcher 3, Grim Dawn and Wolves of Midgard run with Proton GE 7-50 now (Proton Experimental no longer needed). Thank you GE Devs!

All the best!

New Super Lucky's Tale

1.) Offline installer add to Steam, no launcher was used. Runs fine on memory card.
2.) Proton 7.0-6
3.) 1280x800
4.) 60fps

Extra info: Controller mode didn't work on first or second try, so was using keyboard emulation mode but since the OS was misbehaving somewhat (it always do after an update, sometimes even freezes), a computer restart and the gamepad worked again. Don't know what caused the problem but still leave it here for anyone in the same situation.

If you want to run native linux games on the deck without any third party installer, this one should be for you I guess:

The way you install GOG offline games either native Linux or Windows versions is pretty much the same.
It's simple once you did once or twice and know your way around the system and Steam itself. If you need any help, drop me a message any time and will do my best.

I finally got Richard Burns Rally running on the Deck, happy as heck. Is it ok to use this thread to document the process?
I know it's a GOG related thread but I don't have a ProtonDB account and it may help someone in the future. Pretty please :)
