Fever_Discordia: OK good to see you back, this list is interesting and a useful resource when you come to a new game, hope you're feeling better

Did you not think my report about Messiah was worth including though? It would be nice if GOG added the 3dFX exe to their version at least, to give people the choice, if not actually including nGlide as an option or the only way its set up out of the box...

*edit* wait, maybe I'm not explaining this very well, thinking about it - Messiah is one of those games, that instead of allowing you to chose your renderer from a menu, has 2 different executable files to run the game - Messiah.exe and Messiah3dfx.exe I think the 3DFx one was added later in a patch, the GOG version is patched to that version but the Messiah3DFX.exe file is missing

gamebin: Thank you for the concern. :-)

Maybe, the Messiah3DFX doesn't work? Or, in the initial post, you are saying it DOES work, but you had to find it on your own? And no, I did not include it because your point was unclear.
Sorry, out of the box, I could not get the GOG version of Messiah running at all - it would lock up and freeze and the first cut scene, when I tracked down the 3DFx executable and ran it with nGlide I finally got it working with some minor sound issues
Looking at the forum, some people are still not having much luck with the 3DFx version while others are running the Out of the Box version fine - Messiah is not right at the moment, GOG could do with re-visiting the whole thing but I think the absence of the 3DFX executable is particularly odd considering some people, like myself, have had got it running the best with it.

Well, it's not supported above Vista; maybe some people are trying to run it on 7 or 8?

But I would send a message to support about applying nGlide to this. $9.99 for a non-working game is bound to piss off quite a few people.

Yeah, I was trying to run it on 7, and succeeded too, in the end, I got it in the big Interplay 'pay what you want' uber pack so its not like I paid $10 for it expecting to work on 7
Lots of people are having lots of issues, all the way down to XP though - just check the Game specific forum, here's a lengthy post from it details lots of possible solutions, none of which worked for me until I tried the 3DFx version which is talked about elsewhere in the game specific forum
http://www.gog.com/forum/messiah/how_do_we_resolve_messiah_issues
As I say there's are some minor issues remaining even now - sound keeps fading out and to get it back I have to pause and unpause and, at one point I couldn't understand why Bob was taking damage, at that point the walkthrough said 'watch out for the steam' so I guess it wasn't being rendered but was still there, invisibly!
i had a problem with messiah that i had bought from gog,it was a black stripe in lower part of the screen that shrink the image

i solved the problem buying the dotemu version

Here's a quick Question. Does GOG's Populous include the Add-ons Populous: The Promised Lands & Populous: The Final Frontier?

No Bullfrog add-ons yet, unfortunately.
Good to see this list was updated sometime earlier this month. About Leisure Suit Larry though, I'm pretty sure they added in the SVGA version of LSL 6 after a few weeks of demands for it.

And for fixes, looks like you missed out on the drama involving the Dark Fall games being taken off and now being re-added back again, a good one to note. ;)

Added. I think the DF games are missing the originals.

Hi gamebin, nice to see you :D

The Blood audio track in-game should be fixed now since they have been since last year :P

Another poster confirms this:

Long time no see!

Thanks for pointing it out. But sir, I enjoyed that little issue with fixing the soundtrack, but leaving the game audio messed up. ;-)

what about Larry 6

it's still in the "to do" list:

Lesuire Suit Larry Collection - Missing hi-res remake of part 6.

but it's also marked as "fixed":

Lesuire Suit Larry Collection - SVGA part 6 added.

You are going to have to be more specific about what is missing because I thought only the SVGA enhanced CD-ROM version was missing.

Nothing is missing (?), what I'm saying is that there are two entries for Larry Collection in your list.

Oh. Thank you for pointing that out. For some reason, it was not clear to me.
Dark Fall: Lights Out is indeed missing the original game: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/rerelease_dark_fall_12/post53.

Does anyone know what was changed with Dark Fall: The Journal?
