Because GOG Galaxy does not let me specify the subfolder that a game is being installed to, I can not direct it to my manually installed GOG copies of Age of Wonders III or The Witcher 2 (Or most other manually installed GOG games). When I tell it to install to the same folder it will find no pre-existing files because it's checking for a folder/subfolder within the folder I specified instead of the folder I specified and there is no option to disable this behaviour.
GOG Galaxy also fails to inform me of the NAME of the folder and/or subfolder that a game will be installed to (nor does it let me edit it), so I can't figure out what to rename the pre-existing game folder to to have GOG Galaxy detect the pre-existing game data when telling GOG Galaxy to install to the root of the HDD. (Knowing the name of the folder/subfolder would make it easy to work around the issue in the first paragraph).
I also still can't track topics on this forum for more than a few days, it just stops showing them. It's been like this for eons. I track topics so that I can easily refer to their contents in the future. As it is I have to look up a list of my topics but wait, that doesn't display old topics either!
