Hello all,
My wife and I have different tastes in our games. We did installed our games on a same computer (we shared our computer). GOG Galaxy would detect her games when I scan GOG folder. How would that work if I did not buy her games, but she did bough her games?

I understand that we can log out and log in our accounts. But I'm talking about logging in my account and detect her games.

Thanks, Tom
Nothing will happen, those games will show up in the left pane, but when you click on them Galaxy shows not connected, so it won't track time and give achievements (I guess, haven't tested it myself), also can't update through wrong account. Nothing bad will happen, if that was the question.
I have a somewhat same predicament with 1 gaming computer (i don't like gaming on a laptop) and accounts of me and my girlfriend being used there.

Sadly, I doubt that GOG thought about multiple accounts login on the same pc.

Uninstall galaxy. Download the installer parts from the website using browser download. Copy said file to a backup or two. Create two windows accounts, one for your one your partner. Install the game outside windows folders, i.e. to c:\games, for the specific user accounts. That way you have your games, and they have theirs. Stop the galaxy brain drain.
Or do whatever works best for you... and not what someone tells you to do because of their own insecure issues. What dewtech told you is correct.

I guess the games once they are installed have no idea from which GOG account they came from. Your Galaxy client then detects them, but it may not be able to update them or show achievements and the like. You could try this?

Anyway, legally you are allowed to play her games and she is allowed to play your games (all in family/household I think), so that no real harm is done here, isn't it?
