I'd rather avoid any kind of "metagaming", as it tends to draw the worst out of people and to degenerate in obsessions. I know of many people who stopped enjoying their games because their psyche just
forced them to unlock every possible achievement and gain levels and medals; that way, videogaming becomes just another form of office work, imo.
That said, if they did that I would simply ignore it, as luckily my mind is still strong enough to not care about it! :P
Now, please pardon me when I scold this guy, but my patience ran out:
zeroxxx: And it earns them money.
Steam/Valve is business, just like Galaxy/GOG. It's not there to feed your freakin' ego, it is there to bring revenue. And it's not even a must.
You want GOG to growth? Just deal with it.
Starmaker: If/when it does, I'll quit.
zeroxxx: Nobody will miss you I think.
I'm pretty sure your last remark would be much more appropriate if pointed against you.
Do you really
need to always be so much bitter and arrogant with your continuous and pointlessly inflammatory remarks? Learn how to behave politely and start being constructive rather than bashing everyone and everything, for a change! I'm tired of your disrespectful rants "à la tough guy wannabe", and I'm pretty sure we could all live better without them. You're obviously free to speak your mind (and many of your points might actually be valid), but please do so with a bit of decency.
