Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

CDR: I tried uninstalling re-downloading it same issue.
There might be a web page in the support section on how to work around it, but if not try contacting GOG support using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page.

HTH
Is it still in Beta?
I tried it when it came out, but there were bugs so discontinued with it.

Is it still buggy?
Not going to waste my time until it's free of bugs and stable.

Before doing the new install try deleting C:\programdata\gog.com\galaxy. Programdata is a hidden folder, so you may have to set Explorer to view hidden files before being able to delete it.
I get "not connected" quite often, yet it still downloads games on the side while this is happening...

Usual case is that the downloading takes up all your bandwidth, thus Galaxy cannot connect to GOG. Have had it quite a few times while downloading at full speed.

In nearest release our team will improve the not connected page for having bandwidth problems (the message and how the button works).

That is a good start, even though the same holds true for visiting the site through a browser and/or trying to read the RSS feed through Outlook. Unsure if your team can do something about that though, but no worries :)

Yes it is in beta, and it most likely will be in beta for quite some time to come yet. They have not announced any release date or particular release strategy, and it appears they're going with a rolling beta approach "until it's ready". When that might be probably wont be announced until days/weeks before they plan to actually release an official stable release however.

kristian777: Is it still buggy?
Not going to waste my time until it's free of bugs and stable.
Of course it's still buggy, and it always will have bugs just like every other major piece of computer software has bugs in it. It uses the Google Chromium engine, and that alone perpetually has hundreds of bugs in it just like every other major piece of computer software of that scope. If you are expecting it to be 100% completely free of bugs ever, then it probably will never be for you because that's just an unrealistic expectation.

Stable on the other hand, well that's a different concept altogether. If you can handle "stable and free of major glaring bugs and/or missing features" then I think you'll be in luck some day if you can accept that all software has some bugs in it, but it'll never be "bug free", and you'd be hard pressed to find any developer anywhere with any worthy experience disagree with that. :)

Firefox and Chrome are open source, so in theory they can submit patches via bugzilla et al. :) Not so much with IE or Edge etc. I imagine though. :)

I can't play any videos lately with the galaxy client - message is your browser does not support HTML5 Videos .

Additionally when I click on the open in you tube it does not open . I see a separate window on the galayclient Tray Icon but cannot get to it even with ALT+TAB .

Any known issue with taht . I use Win10 and Firefox as Standard Browser but also Chrome installed and used. All in the newest version.
Is there a way to to enlage the font size - magnify the whole page ?

some of us are old u know lol (i run Edge at 125% for eg)

Depends on what you call buggy. Yes it has bugs from time to time, especially when new features are introduced (which makes sense).
But I would call it stable enough for using it as a launcher/installer/updater. I haven't had any major problems the last 12 months or so but I have heard that some people do have problems which might be system and/or game specific related. Just try it for yourself and you'll see.

And I have to agree with Skeletonbow. You'll won't ever get a 100% bug free Galaxy. That's just impossible.

Yes and no, but maybe. The short answer is no, the longer answer is yes but you have to edit the Galaxy CSS files which are minified and unreadable and will be overwritten when Galaxy upgrades, so it's kinda yes with caveats which more or less means no kinda sorta.

Thank you for your answer :)

Perhaps I can use windows to get the text to the size I need, I will have a play around :)

Wont work, it's all controlled via CSS, the files are located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\web\styles or wherever else your client happens to be installed to. The file in question is "main.css" but you'll find it is unreadable as-is. It can be loaded in Firefox or Chrome developer mode by loading the main.html and tinkering around a bit, or possibly with other web development tools that will reformat it in a human readable form for editing. I use Firefox developer mode to tweak Galaxy CSS to my tastes.

It will get blown away on Galaxy client updates though. No simple way to deal with that, however if you're a software developer, one way to potentially handle it would be to convert the CSS files into a human readable format with a csslint or similar type of tool, then import them into an SCM system like git. That way you can track your changes against the official GOG version of the files and when new releases come out you can merge them and clean up merge conflicts. Bit more work to set up but easier to maintain over time sanely.

Same thing can be used to tweak just about any aspect of the Galaxy UI. I use it for increasing the width of the left side bar by about 2 inches, and some other tweaks. Hopefully in the future GOG adds skinning ability to Galaxy so users can do these sort of tweaks in a way that is easy to do and not blown away on upgrades.

Opening it with Sublime Text (the best text editor! <3) will render it completely readable and with a nice colour code. I don't really know a lot about CSS, yet, but I guess you'd have to tinker with the "font-size" elements (Sublime tells me there are 33 matches); I don't know which ones change what, though, so it would probably be mostly trial-and-error.
