== BUG REPORTING ==

Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

BKGaming: Galaxy is crashing for me every single time I go to close it on 1.1.9. Never had crashing before this... not even in alpha. Sigh.
Same here. When I close GoG Galaxy (usually after playing Witcher 3 for a couple of hours) it crashes...it is not a serious problem but it's annoying. Never happened before.

Please put this in Mantis with logs. :) (please look at Venom's post pinned to the top) The crash screenshot or quote would be nice. :)

Hello, I am loading up the GOG application for the first time in a while. I downloaded a Witcher 3 patch of some sort, but I can't see the full title of what I downloaded... Even in the "Get backup and extras" I can't see the full title of what I am downloading. I can open up the folder of what I downloaded, but it still doesn't really explain any of what it is.

Is there a way to see the information easier for each download?
I feel like this is the third time I've asked, never with any answer, but is there any ETA on being able to choose features? Ever since the beta launched it's been listed on the Galaxy page that you can "Choose your features", and this has never had the "(soon)" after it that was used for other features that weren't implemented yet. And yet, after all this time, it's still not possible for anything except for the overlay.

Just so I know.
I had this happen to me about a week ago (April 25, version 1.1.9). With every crash I got the option to send a crash report to GOG and I did (2 or 3 reports, can't remember). I assumed that is good enough and there is no need to also post on Mantis.
Was I wrong?

Yeah, it's pretty bad right now :( We're getting tons of reports about this. Thanks for sending them, but - unfortunately, none of them are helpful :( Please do *not* submit this to Mantis - we have really a lot of these crash reports already, and Mantis would just increase the confusion without bringing anything useful.

So, I need some quick info about what's possibly causing the crash. Because of course it doesn't happen on our machines...

So, to whoever is experiencing this problem:
- do you have the "Quit Galaxy when closing the main window" checkbox enabled in settings? if yes, do you exit by the tray icon anyway?
- is somebody talking to you when the problem occurs, or are there any pending chat/friends notifications, is the tray icon or window bar blinking, etc?
- does Galaxy start when you launch Windows?
- how long was Galaxy running before you shut it down? Do you hibernate your machine with Galaxy running?

Thanks in advance!

You are correct - please don't send them to Mantis, the crash reports are enough. Thanks :)

However, other than these crashs, the game time traking function it's not working anymore and the option window has a strange aspect. I'm under Win 7 64 Bit.

- I was logged in to GOG with my browser while closing Galaxy
- This happened to me once before, a couple of weeks/months ago (can't remember the circumstances)

You can try to install it again:
1) if uninstall doesn't work then just delete GalaxyClient folder,
2) download latest GOG Galaxy installer: https://www.gog.com/galaxy,
3) install it and check if you can use or even uninstall (successfully this time, I hope).
