1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

Is there something wrong with the website? I just realised my rep jumped about 90+ today..
Sure, one of my posts were marked as a solution, but..
Inside the Galaxy client on the GOG storefront homepage right now, the Witcher 3 expansion is listed as being $7.99 regular price and $6.89 on sale, but nowhere at all is defined what $ means. Is that USD, CAD AUD, NZD or some other dollar currency? Please indicate this somewhere and make it configurable for people.

If I go to the GOG homepage in Firefox and am logged into my account however, the exact same advertisement shows the game as $9.99 USD regular price and on sale for $8.49 USD.

What is more confusing is that $8.49 USD would be about $11'ish CAD. But Galaxy is offering me the game for $6.89? Whether that is $6.89 USD or CAD it is still cheaper than $8.49 USD shown on the Galaxy website itself. Colour me confused! Now, if this is a glitch or something then super holy shit I want to buy it for $6.89 USD/CAD either way, but I want to know exactly what currency will be charged to my credit card. Also, if it is a glitch and it gets fixed, then without any sense of entitlement whatsoever, it'd be nice if GOG would give me it for $6.89 CAD for pointing out the glitch. :oP

Either way, one way or another at some point or another I will be buying it here anyway whether it is $6.89 CAD or $3849273434823423498 ZWD. LOL

Hello,

I am unable to find answer for this anywhere, so I am trying to ask here, too.

It is possible to play multiplayer of Van Helsing I and II with my friend, who owns this game on Steam?

Thank you.

I think it is, if you want to be a 100% sure try asking the developers.
Finally decided to uninstall Galaxy.

I really want to use it, but everytime there is an update then I end up seeing the "Server Problem" error in Galaxy and then I have to uninstall the whole game and reinstall.

However this time not even the reinstall wanted to work. It said the same Server Problem.

I think I will rather wait till the beta system gets to a functional state.
So is there a plan to make Witcher 3 1.10 to show achievement pop ups like it did with the 1.8.4 "overlay" beta channel?
I am not sure if I should classify this as a real bug, but for sure it's a glitch.

I have Wastland 2 in my library (no Kickstarter edition) but it's not installed yet. It still is shown as Wasteland 2, not Wasteland 2 Director's Cut (I am referring to the game art / game name withing Galaxy).

If I search for the game in the Store, Wasteland 2 Director's Cut comes up (with distinctive name/art) as already owned.

Would be great if the Library items would sync.
Tech Issues

Galaxy beta client works in off line mode. Well only once after a clean reinstall.
But as soon as i log in and go online it terminate itself completely without any error messages.

It seems too me that my firewall or virus scanner ( Microsoft Essentials that is)
is terminating or blocking the program, but even when their both disabled i am still getting the same problem.
Tried reinstalling on a different pathway, and with administrator rights aswell.
Reinstalled Xnaa frameworks too, did not help.
I am using Windows 7 Premium fully updated.

I cant really find many tech issues around the forums or on the internet concerning this error,
but perhaps i'll need another visit at specsavers.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Could you post your logs at ? Instructions in the [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_beta_2/post1]very first post at the top of the page.
You may also have a look at http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_client_keeps_closing_itself/post10
At first I thought it's matter of cookies and cache but now I see that I have different avatar (old one) on the forums and new, updated one through Galaxy, sometimes it doesn't update and still shows old version, strange. No problems with game time btw but client will not stay in position if fullscreen, only when exited in windowed mode.
Hi everyone,

There's an issue with Galaxy client crashing when it starts to update The Witcher 3. Sometimes this is seen as a crash a few seconds after start or after logging in. This issue is very rare, but if you're encountering it, you may try this workaround:

1. Make sure this is the issue - that the crash you are seeing occurs right after the progress bar on The Witcher 3 appears.
2. Make sure Galaxy Client is NOT RUNNING.
3. Delete the directory C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\1207664643
4. Issue should be fixed, and Galaxy should be able to run and fetch the update now.

If you delete this directory, Galaxy will have to re-check all the game files. This might take a few minutes.

We are working or resolving the issue.

Liosan
I asked earlier about why the prices being shown in dollars in Canada are different on the GOG.com website versus what is showing up in the Galaxy client. I figured it was relevant here since it directly concerns Galaxy and is ambiguous, also no country currency is indicated in Galaxy while USD is indicated on the website. So either I'm getting two different USD prices depending on whether I use the website or Galaxy, or I'm seeing USD on the website and some other country's dollar on Galaxy which I would presume might be CAD however CAD is not an option on the website so as far as I know that is not possible currently. Other options include the Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, the Zimbabwe dollar and the purple unicorn dollar. It'd be nice to know which one it actually is though and I wont experiment with my credit card to find out.

I should also mention that you temporarily did not get some of my money due to not getting a response because in addition to TW3 expansion I wanted to buy some other things that were on sale but wanted the lower price shown on Galaxy if it was in fact lower, but not being able to confirm the currency rate left me hanging so I didn't purchase. Now the sale prices are over, but there is still dollar pricing discrepancies showing so I'm holding off on any purchases until I get a response (from GOG, not users).

For the record, I don't care about the missed sale prices, I'll wait for a future sale to pick up the games I wanted, I just want the info so I can make better purchase decisions next time and hopefully not miss out. Also, please fix Galaxy client to directly show what currency the prices are in.

Additional technical info that may or may not be relevant: I'm in Canada using a Canadian ISP to connect to GOG over IPv4 normally however I also use an American IPv6 tunnel so if Galaxy servers are IPv6 enabled I may actually show up as coming from the US which could possibly influence decision making on the GOG side. I doubt that is the case yet, but wanted to add that detail in case it was relevant.
Wasn't sure if I'd get a response to my last post either and I don't want to miss out on any more good deals waiting for one so I went ahead and submitted an official query to support as they tend to respond within 24 hours. I'll post an update here with the info they provide in case anyone else experienced this also and is curious.
Having reinstalled galaxy and done several restarts of my pc I am still having the issue where on waking from sleep mode galaxy (which was connected) is in it's offline mode asking to connect. Galaxy was fine until about a week ago when it started to do this.

This means that I'm still trying to download the montrously huge 17 gig patch for witcher 3 nevermind considering the new expansion.

Any suggestions on how I can coax it back into connecting coming out of sleep mode would be appreciated as my connections not good enough to cope with downloading stuff and play games that require a connection. The lag caused by the patch download starting cost me a ship in Elite: Dangerous.
This is the first post I have ever made in my life about anything.

I am looking to play some of the boss gogs I got with other people. My friend in real life told me that I should install the gog galaxy, as she has something called the Steam, and that lets her play with other people.

Does gog galaxy let me play multiplayer? Are they going to include that at some point? Am I even on the right forum? What's a forum?
