Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

JayBDD: Is there any hope of the games that are not compatible with Galaxy (e.g. Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space) getting updates to make them compatible? Or am I being too hopeful? Would be nice to have my playtime in those games tracked (as well as not having to resort to third-party patches just to run some of them in fullscreen >_>).
Did you try install them manually and adding to Galaxy? The Bard's Tale seems to be not Galaxy compatible (not on windows anyway), but keeps tracking playtime after adding to the client.

JetBaily: Can an option be added to remove the news-feeds?

Or maybe the news-feed can become more functional?

Because for a lot of my games, the only item that shows up in there is the news story about the game being released. Which is not what I would consider relevant, since I've already bought the game.

I mean, it might also show a special months after I bought the game where I would have paid less for waiting.

Which is also not helpful.

So here's some ideas:

->Adding the option to disable the news-feed.
->A link to the community page.
->Some sort of page where users can add links to modding sites.
->Details on extras

I mean, SOMETHING THAT'S NOT JUST STATIC.
Just wanted to say I agree with this, especially on slow internet where we have to wait for nothing of value to show up. The news feed is worthless 99 times out of 100. Hell, it might even be worse than that. I think I've only ever seen one article of value in my entire fair-sized GOG library. It's not worth the bandwidth, on our side or GOG's side.
Seriously does Galaxy even check games are updated already.
Manually updated The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt downloaded patch with GOG Downloader.

Galaxy still insists downloading another 16~17GB, maybe ok for folks on unlimited plans in their country, but not mine!
Why is there also no consistency in the naming
Galaxy: the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_game or some random named folder that's generated, which leaves it orphaned from the game folder.
GOG Downloader: the_witcher_3_wild_hunt

Did you maybe use one of the Beta-Channels e.g. Overlay?
If so disable it that should fix your problem.

Hallo,
please excuse me if this post seems to be a little "stupid". I'm 49 years old and because of my desease (Multiple Sclerosis) I often must stay in hospitals. But I'm a PC-Gamer since more than 20 years and this is not going to change ...as long as I can still move my hands!!! But who knows-perhaps, in some years I could get a modding wheelchair and could play RTCW with a feeling like sitting in a tank
Now I have a problem and I hope you could help me. I had to stay in hospital for 3 months and when I tried to play my Witcher 3, I noticed that all savegames are gone. I never play online because I've been much too slow because of my Multple sclerosis.
Is it perhaps possible, that someone sends me his savegames as an Email (as an attachment)? I played "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" over 50 hours and if i had to repeat everything...???
So, I give you my Emailadress: jens.hauchmann@gmx.de! It would be really great, if someone could help me.
Please send me an answer...I would be really delighted!

And wouldn't be better to start the adventure once again? ; )

Hello. Need some information about galaxy.

the first time I installed Galaxy, Galaxy automatically connected gog.com games I had on the hard disk on the Galaxy game list.

Unfortunately, these games (Undying, The Witcher 3) , after installing Galaxy do not start anymore from the desktop icon and required forcedly launching Galaxy. I uninstalled Galaxy from my PC.

Now, in this months what change?

If I reinstall Galaxy, just to try in Multiplayer AVP, I can hope that The Witcher 3 is not automatically linked with galaxy? Or The Witcher 3 will be linked automatically as in the past in galaxy without asking EVEN if binding or not this "optional client"?

In little words, wanna have galaxy only for MP games, but if i install galaxy i don't want find the SP games automatically linked to galaxy. is this possible?

The desktop shortcuts Galaxy installs point to Galaxy to run the game. You can always use the start menu shortcuts, or create your own which should point directly to the game's executable. Galaxy is not needed for the games to run.

Seriously? You uninstalled Galaxy because shortcuts didn't work as intended anymore?
How about recreating them... unbelievable.
Hey, a quick question regarding Witcher 3 and the Galaxy beta achievement overlay.

Galaxy didn't want to download the 1.10 patch for Witcher 3 when I had the beta channels on. Now that I disabled it, I got the 1.10 patch installed. My question is, does the newest patch support the beta overlay? Is it safe to turn the beta channels on again or will it roll me back to 1.08?

Thanks!

The version of The Witcher 3 patch available is the same no matter what version of Galaxy you're using. If you're experiencing a problem with it then it is a good idea to report it at mantis.gog.com with full details though. I'm using Galaxy with prerelease enabled and have the most recent version (1.1.4 beta). The Witcher 1.10 standalone patch backups downloads fine for me through Galaxy as does the auto-update mechanism.

I should clarify that I'm not talking about the Galaxy pre-release version. I also have version 1.1.4 and it's working fine. I'm talking about the beta channels available through "Configure" menu in Witcher 3.
It was first introduced here: https://www.gog.com/news/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_achievement_notifications

Ah, I haven't enabled that yet. Not currently playing the game so I'll probably just wait until it's official.
