1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

anomaly: Here is an announcement for a new wishlist item - adding support behind the scenes for the How Long To Beat web page, that aggregates play times for games played on all platforms to give an idea of actual play times.

This is probably not going to be the most important thing to add to Galaxy, however it is something supported by the other major players so possibly should be looked into at some stage,

My wishlist link:
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/add_support_for_how_long_to_beat_website
That would be a cool feature but there are probably 100 similar features that would be equally cool like integrating IsThereAnyDeal.com or other stuff kind of like the Enhanced Steam addon for Firefox/Chrome. I think rather than having GOG spend the resources to integrate everyone's pet features like this though, it would make a lot more sense for them to create a plugin API for the client and let 3rd parties mod the client with customizations like this, that would be much more powerful and let GOG focus their efforts on making the base client as stable and reliable as possible for its core function, and let others enthusiastic about special features have the ability to create them as mods without having to wait for GOG to do it with limited resources.

+1 for an official extension mod interface for Galaxyclient and a howlongtobeat addon by someone in the community! :)
Ever since 1.1.1 came out or so, I switched to the compact list view and like that better as more stuff fits within a given amount of screen real estate. One problem though is that a number of my games did not show icons beside them in compact view. In particular "Runaway: A Road Adventure", "Mount & Blade", "Dungeon Keeper Gold" never loaded icons however they showed a perpatual circular throbber icon to indicate that it was trying to load something. It never loaded it and the throbber animation never went away making it very annoying.

I think I reported this here before but am not 100% certain about that. Anyway, I've been on 1.1.2 since it was available and it had the same problem but for some unknown reason the problem magically went away today. All 3 games now have miniature icons beside them and Problem Solved(TM). Just wanted to give feedback about that here in case anyone else experienced it as well.
I'm trying to submit a ticket to mantis.gog.com, but the window just keeps loading and nothing happens. Are there any server problems or am I doing something wrong?
Is anyone ACTUALLY working on the linux client, or are you just working on the theory that linux users will feel less slighted by a mirage of future support than a firm refusal?
There should be a privacy option that lets you disable the feature that lets other people see what games you are playing.

And anyone else experience GOG Galaxy freeze after it is running for awhile?

Yup, same here. The client turns into a white square, no interaction possible after that.

Yeah. This happened to me this morning. I left GOG Galaxy running for around 5 hours, came back and saw a big white frozen square.
No improvements regarding my router crashing issues with the new version. Updating a game is still very random and results most of the time in a reboot of my linksys WRT54G router. It usually happens when I reach 90% on the download progress, it seems the lasts bits are very painful... right now I can't get Galaxy to finish Satellite Reign's update.

What kind of super agressive connection protocol Galaxy uses to mess things so badly with my router? Or is it game related? Satellite Reign is the one I that gave me the worst results so far. No other similar clients like Steam or Origin cause such hardware issues when I download or update games, it's the firt time I'm facing an issue of that kind.

Unfortunatly I don't have any significant log to provide since Galaxy only registers a connection loss without specifying a cause (which is normal, it's a router failure).

system:
Windows 10 home
Galaxy 1.1.2
WRT54G router

Edition:
I tried to work around the issue in order to update Satellite Reign, I manually downloaded and applied the patch. The game updated properly, but Galaxy fails to notice that it was updated and still reports an old game version. When I use the Verify/repair tool Galaxy still fails to identify the version properly and tries to redownload the whole game. If I allow Galaxy to redownload the game it rolls back to a previous version (1.04, current is 1.04.02), and then retries to update the game which cause, again, a rebooting loop on my router when I reach the last MBytes of the download.

This seems to be a hit or miss for the most part sadly... getting Galaxy to not download stuff it already has available is a game within itself. xD

Is there a way to start Galaxy maximized on Windows 10? Command line options don't work it seems.
Rather than starting a new thread I thought I'd just put this here.
Is there any chance of creating links in your library on the website that automatically load galaxy up and tell it to install / download backup installer for a game?
Similar to the way the old Downloader links worked?

I know you could just open galaxy up and browse your library from there, but if I'm browsing the forums and get bored and decide to install a new game then it's easier to do it from the browser I already have open then to open galaxy first...
This would more closely mimic the behaviour of the old downloader too.
It appears the little blue dot is not appearing on 1.1.2 when updates are disabled unless you click on the game card, THEN it can find that an update is available. Anyone else noticed that? Certainly not how it's suppose to work.

If that's the case then it might be a bug. Could you post an issue, with logs attached, to mantis.gog.com?

Done.
I hope you implement a fps counter like steam.
