I live in Sweden and for the past week or so I haven't been able to use online features of GOG galaxy or enter gog.com. The only workaround I have found is by using VPN. I am sure some server is having issues, but I thought I would bring this to peoples attention.
This question / problem has been solved by Wishboneimage
Might be an issue with your ISP, or a DNS somewhere. Can you do an nslookup or tracert to gog.com?
Are you sure it's not an issue with your ISP? Have you contacted them to inquire? Asking because of the VPN solution you've found.

You may also want to contact GOG Support, if you haven't done so already. If it's an issue on GOG's end, it's the appropriate route to getting this looked in and fixed.

Okay, so it's not a DNS or routing issue. It might still be your ISP blocking traffic from one of those subnets for some reason, though probably not on purpose. It might also be the server you connect to that has a problem.

When I do the same exercise, I hit 193.59.178.39 instead of 193.59.178.33. You could try to register gog.com with that IP in your host file and see if that helps.

I switched to Googles DNS; 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which fixed my issue. Thanks for the help.
