Wishbone: These discussions would not always end up being so confusing if more people would realize that
GOG is the
company and
Galaxy is the
client. There are
so many people who keep saying "GOG" when what they mean is "Galaxy". It really does not help anyone understand the issues involved.

Sorry, no. That was not apparent. It also doesn't invalidate what I said. It just means that it doesn't apply to you in this instance ;-)
It's still a problem though. I really do see people do this in almost every discussion involving Galaxy. I think it is partially because Steam and Valve have become synonymous in most people's minds by now, but lumped together under the name "Steam". I think some people do the same with GOG and Galaxy, they just happen to lump those two together under the name of the company rather than the name of the client.
