has this now been stopped? I find it better than gog galaxy to download but cant see its links anymore?

Short answer: Yes.

Mostly short answer: It was discontinued about 5 years ago, but they kept it around to give people a long transition period.

I have not been on GoG for a bit, and was kind of sad to see the links were gone from my games inventory. I assumed it would happen at some point...
