Hahaha, I'm guessing even implied nudity is too much sometimes XD
*bangs head on desk*

Though swearing at people isn't how you get your point across. If you want to inform someone/people/groups of your feelings, do it in a controlled way. You are inviting your comment to be deleted if you filled it with venom, even if the point remains the same.

Robette: lel for calling this "critical".
Well, being critical of something can be expressed in a broad spectrum...

Facebook pages have a swear filter setting, and a custom word blacklist feature. Mystery solved.

I would have deleted it simply because of profane language, regardless of what the content was.

If you can't express yourself without foul language, you really don't have much to say, that's my opinion anyway.

I agree. The OP, and other posters who are trying to make the same point as him, have muddied the waters by putting profane language and/or obscene images into their posts.

And because they muddied the waters like that, we are unable to determine if GOG deleted the posts because they are censoring critical thought (which is very bad if that is so), or alternatively, if they are deleting posts solely because they are profane & obscene (which isn't bad on GOG's part, should that be the case).

So you guys would have a lot stronger case if you stopped muddying the waters, and keep your profanity and obscene images to yourself.

Or they could post civil comments on the topic at hand to such sites, and keep the cruder comments(but not too crude, of course) to the sites where such is allowed/tolerated/the norm......that way, the message could be spread in multiple ways on multiple sites.

(I agree they should try to remain as civil as possible, and not make post such crude things on sites like facebook, btw)

I could not agree more if I tried. I'm leaving the platform, or well, it's pending "actual removal" since all steps have been taken. I made my goodbye post and my ticket requesting removal with both my opinion as well as with normal/decent language. As an adult it's actually surprisingly easy to behave like... Well an adult.

Just wanted to say:
1. Being civil and watching one's language doesn't necessarily(generally speaking) make one an adult.
2. Some people are very upset about this issue, so I can somewhat understand why some might resort to such language.
(of course I wish they'd keep it to the proper sites)

Aside: I am surprised facebook is still used so much......especially when there are other newer sites to use these days.

klogd: Their Wolfenstein post on FB had 205 comments 36 hours ago, now it has 214
Pumpkin jack post: 101 increased to 106
Winter sale: 181 to 191
Prison Architect: 294 to 295.
I think there were nearly 300 comments (mostly about Devotion) under the Winter sale post when I looked at it a couple of days ago. I looked again the following day and there were only about 50. So it did appear to me as if they were deleting them.

If CD Projekt/GOG are really having a Christmas Crunch to do this now that'd be hilarious. How about dealing with what makes people write these comments in the first place.

"The funny thing is being that that is how nearly everyone act on social media" :D

(seriously though, I am betting that if everyone avoided those subjects on social media it's likely those sites would become myspace 2.0....as those topics cover a majority of the posts on social media[well, I guess they could all post cat pictures and memes a bit more :)])
