clarry: I'm not making any accusations either way but if this is beamdog's will and GOG bent over, then they are just as guilty.
Think of that: Beamdog removes their "enhanced" junk from GOG. ORIGINALS will also be lost forever... It is the copyright holder and the publisher, who can "force" GOG do certain things. Loosing the original Infinity Engine Games would be a devastating blow to GOG and good old gaming.

Also, think of that: Beamdog sinks all by itself lower and lower, before our, the gamers and buyers' eyes. They are so going to have extra backlash from all this, later.

GOG is usually the victim. Trust me. I have witnessed them being blackmailed live, even from forum users, in the past.

If Beamdog is so evil, then I would prefer that the titles are removed so that nobody here give them a cent. Originals will live on forever on people's hard disks, CDs, torrents, etc.

The ideal solution though, would be for the originals to be available again, separately, exactly as those had been in the beginning, before that cr@ppy leech took over...

Yes of course. But if that's not legally possible, then having some spine and doing the right thing (instead of bending over) is the next best option.

Well, GOG is no community driven shop anymore and they cater to companies with shitty policies now to a degree.
I'm surprised that it wasn't deleted earlier.

Now if this was not just yet another bug, I'd rather be miffed about the lack of communication about that but that's my main gripe anyway.
