I think there isn't even an official link to GOG Connect on the main page? Unless I'm overlooking it.

It was just another of GOG's nice but clumsy publicity stunts. There might be more of its kind, if publishers willing, but I wouldn't wait for it.

Okay, so what I surmise from this is that I'm experiencing the same as everyone else. There was a short GOG Connect trial with a few games on it, that lasted for a couple of weeks. Currently the GOG Connect is running but doesn't have any games to connect at the moment, but that could change at any time.

I think it is frustrating that we have to keep visiting the Connect page, only to find nothing there, on the chance that maybe games will be added. (It would be less frustrating if games added were not being removed later.)

Also the additional frustration I felt that maybe something was broken, and my account was failing to update - Your comments have helped to alleviate this.

You don't HAVE to keep visiting, you can wait until something about it is posted onto the front page.

If/when more games are added it will probably make GOG's front page, and some of the gaming news sites and the r/games subreddit, so you don't have to keep checking the Connect page specifically.

maybe we should keep bumping this thread and keep it on the first page
that way we can direct any newbie that wanders in here aksing about gog connect to it

On a more serious note (sorry for the interruption, snowkatt et al :)), I think you can stop visiting the Connect page regularly. You and everybody, actually. I can't speak on behalf of GOG, but I'm quite sure that if/when new games are available they'll let us know with some e-mail, big banner in the main page and forum announcement.

Most probably there's no direct link to Connect from anywhere else in the site because it's pointless while there are no available games.

Haha, yeah, I know... I actually like the idea of "pinning" the thread, since there's no official GOG Connect FAQ including "hey, what's happening with this?".

Just wanted to add my 2 cents because OP has been nice and polite, unlike in some of the other gazillion threads.
