So I imagine this topic has been disucussed a million times, however I am new to Gog. I have 83 games on Steam and have been using it for over 14 years now. I like Steam, and I don't like it. I like the idea I don't have to keep a CD\DVD and serial key hidden in a safe place in case my drive crashes. Recently I installed Steam becasue of Gog Connect and was able to start my collection on Gog, Ziggurat, Banished, and Jotun. Three games that I don't play much as of late. i originally thought I could link more games becaue I originally saw a list that had a dozen or so games that I do currently play. Wish all the released titles were still available.

Can anyone tell me how often games are available and if I have Gog Galaxy, do I somehow get notified? I feel like I almost have to search for this information daily so I don't miss out. thx.

Usually a news article happens or a major sale occurs. But, part of the incentive is getting you to look at the home page every day.

EDIT: You could go to connect itself, every day, or set it as your home page.

Keep an eye on the news feed and our social media feeds, we update those with which games are offered on GOG connect.

OK fair enough, but I don't subscribe to any of the social media feeds and not sure where I would see the news feed. When I open gog galaxy would I be notified somehow?

When you click store, scroll down and on the right hand side you'll see a news feed with the latest releases etc

Nice! Thanks. How often do these roll out? I was hoping that I could go back and load previous games. I purchased Project Zomboid on Steam last month and was hoping to add it to my GoG account butt doesn't seem like it works that way.

To be honest, I would think when you open Galaxie, it would automatically notify me. That would be the best way to not miss it.
