Cavalary: That rule hadn't been enforced at that point, then they all of a sudden decided to make it a thing and locked many threads for falling foul of it. I mean, we also had a thread for good gaming deals on other stores before, with links.
mrkgnao: Quoting from the Forum Code of Conduct (https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001814049-Forum-Code-of-Conduct?product=gog): "WE DON’T TOLERATE... advertising, referrals, links to other stores... unless this applies to giveaways"
[My highlight]
Im just pointing one of the multiple subjectively CoC enforcement
this forum has

DEPENDING on who is the host
AND its positive influences/connections with the moderators in turn,
the non-GOG GA may silently pass without frictions
Otherwise, lets say I organize it:
Deletion & imminent ban would be my prediction
Come on, you brought the topic on another thread & here my straight opinion:
Not all the customers are treated/attended exactly the same way
Why? Simple & without wearing paranoid tinfoil hats:
This is an incompetent amateur e-store. Tell me it is not :)
Thats how some say the service is incredible
while others diametrically the opposite
Quality shines by its total absence on this e-store
