An entire forum for suggestions
Text based signatures (3 lines max)
Number of posts under a users rep
Gift a game to a friend
OSX support for dos box so that games can run native on a mac.- I realise that is not a realistic suggestion, so i'll stick to vmware xp on osx.

volrath: Would be nice, also, to include the cover of each game in the download section a jewel cd case shape, for example. So we buy the games, we burn them and we print the cover for our cds.

Yes! Print-res CD covers and even labels is an awesome idea imho.
While I'm posting, +1 to PayPal and Demos.
Also not wiping my existing cart contents when I hit "Download now" would be nice (more of a bug though I think).
-A link to the forum for each individual game.
-Shots of the original box's back cover on the game's page
-Saved game files as extras
almost all games in the catalogue are multilanguage : i think the language choice is expected by many non-english
sorry for my english, i'm french
Seconding the request for windowed mode for all games.
- multi-platform compatiblity (for the linux gamers out there. sure, there's wine, but it would be better to play them natively)
- demos
- more languages. it would be great if you could download any of a number of language versions of a game after purchase.
- higher resolution in some games (so we can play fallout in the native resolution on widescreen lcds). i've seen fan mods like that for infinity engine games, so i guess it could be done for some of the others, at least.
dunno about paypal. i haven't had much experience with it myself, but from what i've heard it isn't exactly safe. then again, it probably wouldn't hurt to make it an option.
i agree with the cd/dvd covers idea. it would be nice if there was a choice (some of us prefer slim cd-boxes to dvd-boxes, since they take up less space, but others want their collection to look cooler ;) ).

This is really a genera request rather than a feature, but I wasn’t sure where to post this... Are there plans to provide “adventure” games on this site? Specifically the good old slide-show style games (Myst, Riven, Syberia, etc.).
Thanks,
-Todd
Maybe this has been posted before, but each game should have an archive of old game reviews. The section could be titled "Critical Mass."
low rated
Flash-based web pages for each game. This feature could add a bit of class to the site.
- Preview message option when posting on the forum, please.
- PayPal as a payment option.
- Gift certificates! The possibility to buy games for other people (even for those who are not yet registered as members).
- Multiplayer meetup services. Since more or less all of the people who still play these games are right here, it would be handy to organize them a way to start games with each other.

Great ideas. ;)
I add to this posting not in pop up window but in lightbox/lightwindow javascript "window" for example.

paypal are already acceped XD
- GPG signed digital certificate of ownership to silence the "everyone's a pirate" crowd or the Homeland Security agents wanting to confiscate the self-burned CD at the border crossing. Self-generated from the account page, perhaps? Printable as a PDF?
- Multi-platform versions if available. Descent 3 has a native Linux version, for example.
- "Works with Wine" symbol on game description page if known to run well under Wine, Crossover Games or Cedega. Link to Wine compatability database page for game.
I would like to toss my vote towards a wishlist/watchlist as well, especially for titles that are "coming soon".
I kind of like how this site does their games. You can see screenshots, check out reviews, see the system specs and bunch of other stuff from one easy to use screen.

Hell maybe gog can strike a deal with IGN or something where IGN gives you guys some free advertising and you use their site to link to for a review of the game your selling since they have even old games listed. Well maybe not IGN in paticullar but something along those lines with some websites reviews.
