install new dlc Where the cat and wolf play.
and now it freezes all the time, cant verify the files as Gog.com fails to connect somehow, but you can still buy games!, which i wont be doing!

I had this same issue, confirmed it was resolved by running Galaxy as Administrator.

Yep, same here.

If its not working for you check task manager & make sure you kill the galaxy client stuff before you run it again.

hi im completely new just ordered a game and its paid for then came to gog and downloaded the engine(gog galaxy) ....cant log ontoit. it tells me "user not found". i have no other options to proceed....frustrating . any help?

Can you please try to login to GOG using gog.com website in another browser (or in your current browser incognito / private mode)? The Client only embeds the very same login that the web page is displaying so theoretically it should not be possible to login on the website but not login in the Client.

If you will continue encounter this issue, either on the website or in the Client, please do contact our support - they will be able to assist and sort it out (for obvious reasons I can't discuss and troubleshot your account / login information on the forum :).

go to ur antivirus firewall and add/allow galaxy client helper which van be found in programfilesx86/galaxyclient

and allow galaxyclientservice.exe and u r good to go and please someone report this to company

Just a hint that may help some users:

I recently had the problem that both Chrome and Galaxy couldn't connect to any *.gog.com server. Firefox worked fine. Chrome showed a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error.

Somehow the Window DNS catalog got damaged.

I was able to fix the problem with the following steps (Windows 7):
1. Start -> type cmd
2. right-click CMD icon -> run as administrator
3. on the now open console enter the following: netsh winsock reset catalog
4. restart computer

After that, both Galaxy and Chrome worked as expected.

I can't do it either. It's not a matter of Windows firewall. I tried running as administrator too... no help.

nevermind, I fixed the issue by redeeming my game code from the back of the manual

the same problem here. click 'connect now' first loading icon appears, then 'connect now' again. I have disabled firewall etc, nothing helps. Has anyone solved this problem?

same issue here

on the page in galaxy client, it says click here to secure sign and link steam

then it does NOTHING.

nothing..

(no firewalls up even tried disabling windows firewall) no router and plane jane modem so nothing is blocking anything

Help gog fans and or mods!

Me the same! Click on the GOG Galaxy to sign in trough Steam , and... NOTHING!
Me again.

I managed to connect but, not by GOG Galaxy Client but trought WeB Site! Opened on Mozilla and I turned off Norton for 15 minutes to be sure it works...

However I got message :

Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience.

After about 2 hours, I tried to access GOG Connect again, and the games started to list, however some games were marked and not eligible, why? Why those games are not imported to my GOG Library? Is this a issue?
The games marked and ok, stil not listed in my library, it is strange...

It is about Galaxy not about connecting steam account for GoG sake!
