It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

-El_Greeko-: I turned the firewall off but it still didn't work. But the "Galaxy Updater Application" actually popped up before the Client launched and downloaded 50+MBs. Something that it didn't do before.

Fallen_Zen: Can you reach this address through your browser? https://cfg.gog.com:443/desktop-galaxy-client/config.json

The log says that the GOG Galaxy cannot connect to this URL.
Yup. It downloaded a .json file.

Might be Windows Defender, forgot about that.

EDIT: Nope, it isn't Windows Defender either. I remember that the Client worked on the day I installed it (a day or two after the open BETA released).

I have the same problem. After GOG Galaxy updated itself (~50mb) it could suddenly no longer connect. I have disabled Windows Firewall and Kaspersky Internet Security.

I did a clean Windows install (I formatted my PC) yesterday and GOG Galaxy worked yesterday and today. Now it just stopped working for some reason. AGAIN.

Is the issue the same? Have you installed anything in the mean time thay may have caused it to stop working? Please create an issue on Mantis, thank you!
Do you sign into your GOG account every time you use GOG Galaxy?

I've installed Windows Updates, mostly.

I've already created an issue on Mantis. Should I create another one?

I can't use GOG Galaxy. But it only asks me to sign in sometimes. Right now it only asks me to connect.
I click connect, there's a spinning circle (loading icon) and it doesn't connect.

EDIT: It's working right now. :S I don't know why.

Please attach all the logs to the issue you've created, we will investigate them. Thanks!
I'm having the same issues as well here, not being a huge tech dude, how would I also upload any relevant info you guys can use to figure this out?

Kinda pointless me spending money on any games on GOG right now if the client doesn't work :/

Yeah. Having issue with connecting to GOG Client as well. I found out that it was Kaspersky Internet Security that was blocking it. I did add it to the exclusion list but that does not work and turn it off the security as well.

The only way to get it working was to completely close the Kaspersky Internet Security.
I have installed in 2 Computers. The one with win 7 runs like a charm never had a problem.

My laptopo icame with win 8.1... I used to be able to connect with troubles and several tries now i dont... same as this guys.... Windows defender and firewall deactived.... upgraded windows... open ports, disable Ipv6, dns open, reset host files, remove it tunnel adapters...

If someone solved this problem please help. Something is blocking connection and I don't know how to fix it.
I have tried many ways
Run it as an administrator!!!
I've been having the same problem. It was working at first, but it stopped working around five days ago and nothing I've done (disabling firewall and antivirus, running as administrator, etc.) has helped in the slightest. I opened a ticket and attached all my logs, but I've not heard anything.
