Nicole28: Sometimes I think that videogames are the one product that should come with warranties even more than electronic gadgets. It would get rid of 90% of all irresponsibility where a game is released in an unfinished, scattered buggy mess, yet without making things too difficult for the store front.

SirPrimalform: Well that's good news. It's sad that it had to come to this before they'd even act, but it's a positive outcome.

GameRager: PR wise/etc most companies choose not to react to events publically unless they must, rather keeping such things and how they deal with them behind the scenes. This is just how it is in today's social media fueled world.

hedwards: This whole thread kind of puzzles me. Where is GOG going to get the money to issue all those refunds? I doubt very much that there's anything in the contract that would require Tinybuild to provide the money, if they're not already being required to supply the updates they create here.

IMHO, it's rather unfortunate that Tinybuild is apparently outright refusing to support the games here with materials they're already producing, but I fail to see why GOG should have to cover the cost of providing all those refunds.

The best thing is probably just to not buy anymore Tinybuild games until they change their policy. Personally, very few of those games appear of any interest to me, so it's unlikely I would have bought them either way.

GameRager: IIRC someone posted a link from Tinybuild stating they didn't support that team member's comments and they are working with gog atm to fix things.
