I havent yet managed to catch E_A, i hope he can have the match "soonish", as ill be going to visit my relatives for the next week or so. Probably on monday. ...well, i probably can playing next week as well using my brothers computer, but its still going to be a bit more trouble as he doesnt have the game etc.

Me & Werecrow will be playing Sunday afternoon.

Vamp Duo vs E_A's spiky elves was just played...and ended up 2-0 for the vamps.

It was very interesting match for me, as i was rather pessimistic how to face E_A's elves with just 2 vamps and teamful of filler thralls. Well, clearly with Nuffle's favor everything is possible. E_A put up good defence on first half and some tricky offensive - but by the last number i think i over numbered him more than 2:1. E_A got lots of 1's on dodges, including one GFI fail with ball carrier just before the line at the end of the first half.

Meanwhile my vamps proved rather dull fanged this time around: There were bloodlusts yes, but i think there was like only one KO and the rest were stuns. ..then again, on the CAS side of things, almost all my team caused were done by the loners. Again. Well, atleast the vamps stayed "alive" this time. Only perma CAS i suffered was niggle on some thrall and thats minor.

oh on the totally off-topic news: i finally got my safety razor and did not kill myself. boy that thing is sharp. I can recommend if anyone wants to get ride of their beards.

...i wonder if i can play with the norse any more or do i have to grow the beard back first?

I'm set to play DodoGeo sometime around 1 PM my time, 9 PM his time tomorrow.

I am going to the emergency room in a few hours to finally get checked out (my appointment never happened due to scheduling conflict; IE they had no record of my appointment) but that shouldn't impact the game.

Looks like we've got quite some Blood Bowl today.:-D

Does anyone know the best way to contact Michal? I had to leave for a few days, and now want to arrange my match with him. Since time is running short, I wanted to make sure that I reach him. I did send him a message through the Blood Bowl contact system and a PM here on GOG, just want to make sure that I don't miss him.

Error made on my behalf: the time offset is UTC +2, not +1. Game still at noon Pacific time, 9pm in Germany. Gametime has not changed.

Unless someone knows him personally or you know email, the "official way" is to first pm in here gog and then later leave a message on the thread if you dont get answer.

...so everyone, please do try to check you gog messages atleast few times a week and dont expect to play the match on the very last minute of the rounds last day without having contacted the opponent well beforehand.

RL "happens" ofcourse, but usually stuff can be worked around if there is time.

Since I came back from the emergency room and was still up, we decided to go ahead and have our game. Honestly, and this sounds idiotic considering I lost two players and 80% of my squad was injured and maimed, but it went a lot better this time. I managed to keep Dodogeo from scoring in the first half mainly just by being a trolling pest and suicide running into him. I couldn't match his team in any way, but I did what I could. The second half was just brutal. I only had six players and he basically was able to freely run through my half. The fact that he only scored twice was an achievement.

few tips if i may:

- Dont let the big guys get too isolated, Morg failed because he got surrounded by like half of Dodo's team.

-Foul. Foul. Foul. Foul. Foul. Halflings are meant to gang foul the opposition, show no pity for - youre playing halflings after all, so no matter what you do, youll still be the extreme underdog anyways.

-Throw halflings. Especially in first half, there were some juicy groups of chaos players - throw halfling there, then second one. Sure your halflings may get hurt, but they die happy if they get to fly. Also you may injure opponent as well. Also i -think- it doesnt cause turnover to you.

-Throw team mate scoring. Last half, the last kick off. With a bit better positioning you could have tried to leave one halfling next to tree, then as first action try to pick up the ball and then give/pass it to that halfling, which ofcourse the tree would ttm over the chaos line of players and with some luck score. anyways, the ball would be somewhere else than on your side of the pitch.

-Halflings are kinda "thriller team", so playing too "safe" and not taking those foul/TTM risks will just get you grinded off the pitch sooner or later.

-On positive side of things, after playing a season with halflings, just about any team will feel like its made of Supermen :)
