Hawk52: I figure I better post this. This is a worst case scenario here.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure about two weeks ago, and have been on medication since. Starting Monday, I've been having chest pain, and I'm set for a doctor's appointment Friday. I was advised by a nurse to go to the emergency room immediately, but being a stubborn bastard, I didn't go.
I don't know if this is a momentary thing, or if I'm going to be facing a lot of medical issues in the coming weeks if worst case scenarios play out. So, in the off chance I vanish from these forums (which would be odd considering I log in multiple times a day to check the forums), something may have happened.
I'm still planning on staying in the league and doing my games. But if the worst case does happen, and I vanish, I don't want you guys thinking I abandoned the league.
Edit: In happier news, I just welcomed Charles Dunkindonuts to the team. Fear us!
You take care of yourself, okay, man? I know how scary having to deal with medical issues can be, especially when the words emergency room get thrown into the mix. About 4 months ago, I collapsed in my room and had no strength to get up. I was taken to the ER and was diagnosed with diabetes--I had never known I was diabetic and my blood sugar at the time of diagnosis was 487--about a dozen more points and I'm in the camp of at risk for falling into a diabetic coma. Ever since I've been on my meds, I've been doing great.
But please, always put yourself above the games. Take care of you.
