iippo: -Commencing the Sucking-

super-high-quality Leeches vs Sneezers match about to begin!
...and as always with Pogo's games, I'm not able to watch but get "Error: failed to establish connection". :-(
I wonder if it is due to all the foul appearance she brings to the field.

Maybe today's issue might be caused by one of iipp0's vamps getting a pre-game snack and feasting on the cameraman? ;)

From my point of view, you haven't missed anything by not watching our game ^^° I lost 0-1, and while i think most of it was bad luck, I also think that I haven't played very good either. But at least the match had a few, wtf-what-are-the-vampires-doing-moments :P
1-0 for the vamps!

Last turn score as well.

The price were neglible, just one dead vampire, one -1MV vampire and one -1AV thrall. And naturally the mercenary thrall got the MVP.

...ive got feeling this is going to going to be somewhat more painful season than what i expected - and atleast i played 4 matches with vamps on Naggaroth.

----

Pogo put up very tough fight, especially the beast caused more than enough trouble with the tentacles. Actually i think there was bug with the tentacles - i tried to dodge from the beast but got hold, at the same time i had failed bloodlust. This -should- mean that the vamp must bite the thrall next to him (there was one) OR run off the pitch. The vamp did not bite the thrall, i lost my turn to turnover and then the beast promptly pummeled the vamp for -1mv's worth :(

---

Ill upload the replay to first post google drive briefly. done.

Seeing how they played, they had been fasting beforehand.

...just a few you say? :)

lots of bad dice at the wrong time, move order mistakes almost cost me the game at the end ("thrall-first-vamp-next") etc..

Definitely neither of us played our best...but id happily give you the win if it brought me back my vamps :(

2vamps against E_A yay. and -1MV vamp to boot.. Well i wanted challenge + the ultimate experience...and sure got some.

Theoretically speaking it would be correct that the vampire didn't run off since he was being held in place, but I don't really want to credit Cyanide with foresseing such fine details either, so yeah pretty weird bug.

...it would have been benefical for me ofcourse - if the beast not had done its thing right afterwards.

I'll make sure to exact an ounce or two of revenge for your losses in my next game.

Psyringe: PRIZE POOL UPDATE

As you already know when you've read the sign-up thread, we'll have a prize pool for this season of the GOG Blood Bowl League. Iippo has asked me to manage it, and I'll do my best. :)

Here are the rules for the prize pool (updated slightly to account for the two divisions and higher number of players, all this can be changed if desired of course):

1. Everyone can donate prizes. Everything can be a prize. Currently all of the prizes are games, but if you would like to offer a book, a music bundle, or a fun activity like "I'll write a poem about the players in your team", feel free. :)

2. Prizes will be distributed after the end of the play-offs. Each player can pick one prize from the pool as long as there are prizes left. The cup winner gets the first pick, the runner-up the second, and so on.

3. For players that dropped out in the same round of the play-offs, the order will be determined by comparing their last play-off match - first by TD difference, then by TDs scored, then by SPPs earned, then by random draw. For players that achieved the same rank in their respective divisions without getting to the playoffs, the order will be determined by comparing their entire league performance in the same way, but league points are compared first.

4. If there are less prizes than players, then half of the prizes (rounded down) will be distributed acording to the rules above. The picking sequence for the remaining prizes will be determined by random draw between all other active players. This way, everyone has an incentive to play through the end - even if your team performs badly, you _will_ get a chance to pick a prize. :)

================
Current Contents of the Prize Pool:

- Rising Storm (Steam key through GamersGate), a realistic military shooter. Apparently includes at least the multiplayer part of the two "Red Orchestra" games as well. Donated by Psyringe.
- King's Bounty: The Legend (GamersGate, DRM free), a fantasy strategy/tactics game with RPG elements. Donated by Psyringe.
- Gray Matter (GamersGate, DRM free), a point & click adventure by Jane Jensen, creator of the "Gabriel Knight" trilogy. Donated by Psyringe.
- Civilization 3 Complete (GamersGate, SecuRom), a 4x historical strategy game. Donated by Psyringe.
- The Void, an artistic game that is ... actually pretty hard to describe. ;) (GamersGate, DRM free). Donated by Psyringe.
- Killing Floor (Steam), donated by Hawk52.
- Painkiller: Black Edition (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Home (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Victoria II (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Cities in Motion (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- TF2/Dota 2 items (+an invite for anyone that does not yet have it), donated by WBGhiro.
- Blades of Time, donated by DodoGeo. (Steam key, I guess?)
- Inquisitor (GOG), donated by Aningan.
- Divine Divinity, donated by Dr_Worm
- Torchlight (GOG), donated by Psyringe.

If I made a mistake somewhere in the list, please shout.

Also, we will of course take additional prizes throughout the season. So if you spot something that might make someone happy, feel free to donate it to the pool! :)
I have lots of unused Steam or Desura codes from bundles, like Patrician 4, Eleusis, Karateka, Dungeons: the dark Lord, Eschalon: Book 2, Two Worlds 2 etc...

Since I'm unlikely to ever redeem them (I'm either not interested or already have them), I might as well enter them into the gift pool. I'm kind of too lazy to put up a full list, however.
The replay between me and Dreammouse can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ucrei8rptmv1czk/Weekly_S2_D1_R1_Rashkayla-Arnob8911.db

It was a fun match which resulted in a 2-0 victory for me. But only because i was quite lucky in preventing a touchdown.
Only 1 game to go now....

Well it was a bit hard to set up with a 9 hour time difference, but it's supposed to take place Sunday at 7 pm GMT (noon for him, 9 pm for me).

That's always been a problem for Hawk.
Last season he was the only non european player.
We hope that, with more americans this time round,he will be able to play a few games at times more suited to him....
