The match between Vitek's Lizardmen team "Screams of Frogs" and my Underworld team "Misfits" took nearly two hours (mainly because I was slow making decisions) and ended with a 2-1 for the Misfits due to a TD in round 16.

The wizard knocked out two of my gobbos (I didn't know that the fireball also has mighty blow), dodging wasn't really my team's thing today, it also suffered 5 CAS (with one rat and one gobbo missing the next game) but somehow still made it through.

It was really good match and I enjoyed it despite loss. I am still surprised I managed to score. :-)
The Piranjade's equalizer was really nice move and the winning one was after my mistake and computer shuffling my lines before kick-out from the very last move of game.

You made it through despite the casualties thanks to your deeper roster. Even if you lost more players during first half, you started second half with 11 players while I had only 9 I think.

Replay.

"Natural Disaster" has just scored a 4-0 victory over "Twisted Elves".

However, the result does not appear in the league chart, my players haven't received their SPPs yet, and the team hasn't received the money. The game does appear in my history of played matches. Do I have to do something to make the game appear in the list and collect my SPP?

Edit: Yes. I have to wait a few minutes. All fine now. :)

Edit2: Replay uploaded.

To collect your SPP & winning money, you need to wait for an admin to notice that the match has been played & validate it.

If I am on Steam & not in game, feel free to send me a message...

Btw. if someone wants to play a (fun-)game outside the gog-weekly, just say so. Battling the Ki isn't that interessting, even if I only manage to compete with easy-mode . ^^"

I am not very good, but maybe I can be some sort of practise. ;)

So don't hesitate to ask me and let's play a match at the open access league. :)

I've attempted to register a team in the open league, alongside Digital Hero. Last we checked our applications had not been accepted.

We're both trying out new teams in here, with myself rolling Vamps and he's rolling Skaven.
:)
nice. *g*

I just asked Rod about it. Maybe he grant us access when he has the time to do so. :)

PRIZE POOL UPDATE

As you already know when you've read the sign-up thread, we'll have a prize pool for this season of the GOG Blood Bowl League. Iippo has asked me to manage it, and I'll do my best. :)

Here are the rules for the prize pool (updated slightly to account for the two divisions and higher number of players, all this can be changed if desired of course):

1. Everyone can donate prizes. Everything can be a prize. Currently all of the prizes are games, but if you would like to offer a book, a music bundle, or a fun activity like "I'll write a poem about the players in your team", feel free. :)

2. Prizes will be distributed after the end of the play-offs. Each player can pick one prize from the pool as long as there are prizes left. The cup winner gets the first pick, the runner-up the second, and so on.

3. For players that dropped out in the same round of the play-offs, the order will be determined by comparing their last play-off match - first by TD difference, then by TDs scored, then by SPPs earned, then by random draw. For players that achieved the same rank in their respective divisions without getting to the playoffs, the order will be determined by comparing their entire league performance in the same way, but league points are compared first.

4. If there are less prizes than players, then half of the prizes (rounded down) will be distributed acording to the rules above. The picking sequence for the remaining prizes will be determined by random draw between all other active players. This way, everyone has an incentive to play through the end - even if your team performs badly, you _will_ get a chance to pick a prize. :)

================
Current Contents of the Prize Pool:

- Rising Storm (Steam key through GamersGate), a realistic military shooter. Apparently includes at least the multiplayer part of the two "Red Orchestra" games as well. Donated by Psyringe.
- King's Bounty: The Legend (GamersGate, DRM free), a fantasy strategy/tactics game with RPG elements. Donated by Psyringe.
- Gray Matter (GamersGate, DRM free), a point & click adventure by Jane Jensen, creator of the "Gabriel Knight" trilogy. Donated by Psyringe.
- Civilization 3 Complete (GamersGate, SecuRom), a 4x historical strategy game. Donated by Psyringe.
- The Void, an artistic game that is ... actually pretty hard to describe. ;) (GamersGate, DRM free). Donated by Psyringe.
- Killing Floor (Steam), donated by Hawk52.
- Painkiller: Black Edition (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Home (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Victoria II (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- Cities in Motion (Steam), donated by Piranjade.
- TF2/Dota 2 items (+an invite for anyone that does not yet have it), donated by WBGhiro.
- Blades of Time, donated by DodoGeo. (Steam key, I guess?)
- Inquisitor (GOG), donated by Aningan.
- Divine Divinity, donated by Dr_Worm
- Torchlight (GOG), donated by Psyringe.

If I made a mistake somewhere in the list, please shout.

Also, we will of course take additional prizes throughout the season. So if you spot something that might make someone happy, feel free to donate it to the pool! :)
