in a rather unlucky game on my side, and lucky for dodogeo, the game drew in a 1-1.

All hopes of stopping that TD was gone when 2 of my 3 vampires were K/O

If nothing else I can agree this match was very fun to play. Neither one of us was able to stop the other on offense and even though we both had very slim opportunities to score on turn 8/16 both were dashed before they began by failing to pick up tacklezone-free balls.

Going into this game I had 0 level 3 players but coming out I have 3 so it was a good prep for the playoffs, now to find out who my opponent will be.

I have one question after that match.

My Thrower threw an inaccurate pass, wich was autoreroled to a fumble, the inaccurate pass could have been catched by the receiver, right ?

Should i have turned off the auto reroll thingy ?

As Jolly already reported, the match between us ended in a 2-1 victory for the Good Old Ghouls. Pac Ghoul was unstoppable today, scoring both of my team's touchdowns. The match felt very relaxed (at least to me), since there wasn't much at stake any more. The match could easily have ended in a draw, but Jolly's crucial last-turn pass ended in a fumble.

Possibly, if it is an inaccurate pass you roll scatter, it could at this stage still fly to the intended target (without the +1 to catch )but not likey. Also the ball could bounce into the target's hands if it lands near by; also not likely.

You can turn any skill to ask for permission via the skill list in the options menu and some should be swiched to ask for max effect, like pile on or westle. Switching Pass to manual is much more useful if your target has Diving Catch as they will attempt to catch passes or bouncing balls if it land in any adjacent square, not just ttheir own

The match Lazerwolfz vs Chichen Icha Serpents ended 2-1 for the Wolfz.

Vohaul wasn't really blessed by good dice this game. I managed to roll quite a few defender downs against his big Saurus players even with single die throws. A sking managed an early TD but the Wolfz were quick to retaliate until the end of the first half.

The second half started out much more brutal and culminated in this funny situation where my ball-carrying Wolf was in the tacklezone of two Skinks. After his Kroxigor tried to Blitz and rolled Double-Red with no rerolls I saw the oppening to use my second Wolf to assist, then the ballcarrier pushes one of the skink out of bounds with his Frenzy skill. After that he would have no trouble scoring the touchdown. So he pushes once, but only gets a single dice roll on the next block ( I really should have placed the assisting Wolf better) and I promptly roll a red skull even after rerolls.

I loose the ball and the Skink has no trouble picking it up, running across the field...and stumbeling on his last GFI suffering a casualty as well.

In the end I decided to stall out the game, lest the Skink's speed and nimbleness manage to score an equalizer in the last turns of the game. At this point he had no skinks left on the field, thus no Ball Handeling capabilities and all of his Saurus were down for the count safe for one.

Soo I decided to foul one more and cause a -ST Casualty (that was luckily for him healed by the Apothecary).

All in all it was a good game, but I honestly don't know any other way to win against the super strong and super agile Lizards if I don't use some dirty tactics and hope for exactly the good rolls that I was getting during the game.

Looking forward to the Play-Offs but those are going to be hard as nails to win. Especially against those Norse...ugh...do not want.

The match between Mafia's Goblins and my Nurgle ended 0-0.

Mafia played a high-risk games with many GFIs and activating trolls while there were no Goblins next to them, but it didn't really work out. I tried a more conservative approach that didn't work better.
Nuffle just had it in for both of us today.

Nice preview article for Blood Bowl 2! Looks really promising but I don't know how Stadium upgrades will impact league play.
