The current season doesn't have any of those.
Season 2 on the other hand....
A remark : holiday season is coming up. Some people might go on holiday for a (few) weeks without possibility to play. I, for example, won't be able to play at least one week. I'd love to sign up for another season, but I know it would be impossible to play each match. How will this be handled ?

You mean summer holidays?
I would guess a no-show is a no-show regardless whether you overslept or are on holidays.

I don't see another way of handling it sadly. Or do you have any ideas? What do others think?

...is it really so serious if you miss a match or two? Atleast youll have have chance to play more matches than if you skip the whole season :)

I think people understand.
Hopefully playing Hawk shortly if anybody wants to spectate :-).
EA's Khorne Konstellation 2, Blackrock Berserkers 0.

I'm now on a 0-3-1 losing streak, which if this was the UFC would result in my being fired. Wasn't tired either, so that's not an excuse. I had no answer for his combination of throwing cultist and catching demon which netted him his two goals. Overall it was a pretty physical fight, but didn't go in my favor as much as you'd think.

I do need to say: The game not showing you that your blitz will be a GFI is *bullcrap*. I rarely rage at games, I may get discouraged and quit playing, but this was suuuuuuch BS. I had a dwarf blitz, which if it worked, would have probably given me back ball control and allowed me to score. But his blitz was a GFI square, which the game did not display, resulting in him missing his roll and falling flat on his ass. EA got the ball, then three turns later (thanks to a pass) scored.

I didn't need to be that aggressive. I could have waited. The ball was literally two squares from his endzone. But how can I make good, sound strategic decisions IF THE GAME DOESN'T TELL ME INFORMATION?!

I compared it to playing Civilization, and right in the middle of a war or battle, it takes away all your relevant information on army strengths. How can you know what to do!?!

From then on, I did everything I possibly could to keep it from being a 3-0 game. I succeeded, and managed to un-rage myself, but damn.
I would also like to mention his heroic hobgoblin who managed, unassisted, to prevent me from scoring that third TD. Well played splay-footed hero!

Much more comfortable with the team since I can pass. My elf upbringing is showing I'm afraid... :-)

It DOES tell you.
Look at the ring of squares around your player.

If the X squares are GFI squares, then you will need to GFI to blitz O.
As far as the game is concerned, you are trying to move into that square.
Yeah. But the problem is that unless you automatically count squares because you come from the tabletop side of things you won't know that since the target square is not marked clearly with the yellow danger symbol. There should be some display icon in the block symbol IMHO.

It can be deducted from the surrounding squares, but only if you're aware of the problem.

There was absolutely no indication on the screen what was going on. Yes, I knew my regular movement ended at his player, but that doesn't mean I knew that to blitz the player next to me, would require a GFI. And the game did *not* show anything on his player, or below his player, or any kind of indication of "Hey, you'll be moving into that square and need to roll for it". Which is kind of a big deal.

Edit: Further, even if I HAD been forced to move into that square *after* the blitz, things would have been fine. But I did the GFI roll before I got my blitz action. If the order is reversed, I'm confused but I'm not raging about it.

If the square under him had changed colors, or I don't know, maybe programmed in a friggin pop up going "Hey, dumbass, wanna go for it?" I'd have figured it out. I am very careful about GFI's, if there was any kind of indication I wouldn't have done it.

I remember making the same mistake when I started playing Blood Bowl. I didn't have any background from playing the board game either, and it's one of the many little idiosyncrasies in the interface. Once you've run into it, you know how to prevent it in the future, but without prior playing experience, you probably _have to_ run into it to notice it.

Yeah. I'll never make that mistake again.

This one just stings, given the situation. EA would have still won since I couldn't stop his passes, but I'd have atleast made a better show of it.
