Kind of, im just a cook at a four diamond hotel casino. Been working here for seven years and this is the first time the shits hit the fan so hard for me. I'm one of the prep guys, and my job is to make all the food to the point that when you order it the only things the line has to do is minor assembly and apply heat. Example i make the soups, sauces, smoke the meats, make and form the crab cakes, ect. There are normally four prep cooks, but we ate still looking for a replacement for the guy that left in November, and now with injury, we can just barely keep up with the work load of day to day operation, let alone try to get a head for the holidays amd special prep for them...

The name geekchef comes from the fact I'm a geek and I aspire to be a chef. The word chef comes from the French word for head. Chef as we know the word today comes from the shortening of the job title Chef de Cuisine ; literally Head of Food/Meals. It could also thus geekchef could be read as Head Geek.

I tryed contacting warecrow via gog messages a day or two before my coworker got hurt. Never got a reply, so i tryed steam but i think he has his message settings at friends only so i sent him a friends request on Wednesday, an hour before I got notified the situation at work. I made my "sitting oit this week" post when i wss able to get some time to post from my phone.

The match between MafiaK1's Chainsaw Massacre and my Good Old Ghouls ended 3-0 for the Undead. Replay is here.

It was quite an interesting match. The beginning had me rather worried, since I immediately lost both mummies and a zombie before I even had a turn, but then Mafia's goblin failed to pick up the ball, which gave me an opportunity for a quick break - Lara Crutch left her cozy tomb for a successful raid into the opponent's half. Shortly after, Pac Ghoul had an extremely lucky move, as he made a 5+ dodge right through two ghos... erm, goblins, succeeded with another 5+ roll to pick up the pill, and then managed another dodge and a GFI to drive it home.

The goblins tried for a quick equalizer, which seemed like a good idea considering that both my recovery rolls failed, and the goblins successfully bribed the ref so they could keep both their looney and the chainsaw. However, they left their ball carrier a bit exposed, and I managed to sack him. Lara Crutch grabbed the ball and hobbled to a very close turn 8 touchdown.

This pretty much decided the match, since I now led by 2 touchdowns and was receiving the ball in the second half. The second half was much less eventful - after outmaneuvering the defense, Lara Crutch benefited from the rampant stupidity of Mafia's trolls and ran unchallenged to a turn 16 touchdown, while both teams kept hitting each other with cotton balls in the center of the pitch, doing absolutely no damage. Despite throwing 30+ blocks against AV6 goblins, I didn't manage a single casualty (except one resulting from a failed dodge).

I seriously don't know which shenanigans my mummies are trying to pull. They are supposed to be the pillars of the team (literally), but for the second time in 3 matches, I had to play an entire half without them because both were knocked out or injured in the first turn. At least the ghouls are doing their job. ;)

in all fairness my 2td were 1.5 miracles :) Dodging three tackle zones and making a 4+ pass for the first TD; you cannot simply surround mother russia and leave an opening ;)
2nd td was a hail mary pass after we got a good block and retook the ball a 3 or 4 squares before our own tdline, the pass missed but rolled forward out of reach of anyone safe my lonely up front linesman and she made the pickup without hassle next turn. Only downer is the -ma for my catcher, the apo actually gave the exact same injury, useless that is! :(
