I am hopefully going to play against pogo later today, but apparently Nurgle wants to even out the match before we even hit the pitch. Junior is puking all over the place, but uh well, we'll how it goes later in the evening.

2 vampires are badly hurt, and will be missing from next match.

4 thralls were badly hurt by blood thirst.


at the end of the match, only 2 of my players were standing. A vampire and a thrall. The rest were koed.

My team captain has just informed the team and fans (after being "convinced" by me) that making the oposing teams family sick is not tolerated and they should keep those tactics on the pitch.
They all swear to Nurgle they had nothing to do with it though ... hmmm...

Will investigate further.

vamps need apo. get it asap and only ever use on vamps. (unless you get some super weird +stat thrall etc.

Ive lost 3 vamps in my 4 first matches i think. Two got permanently dead and one got -MV....atleast he did stick around for 2 seasons despite that.

well, didnt get to play after all. Mr Sick woke up the minute we were about to start and well, lets just say that its 12:03 here now and we just finished eating breakfast. :/

Admins: Please don't validate the match between CSPVG and me.

CSPVG has problems with his Internet connection. We made two attempts to play today, but both times the connection did not hold. When CSPVG comes back online, I'll suggest to try for a rematch on Tuesday, hopefully the connection issues have been resolved by then.

"The Iron Maidens" vs. "Game of Tombs" ended in 1-1.
There was a blizzard going on and long passes were not possible.
Lucky I was playing with Khemri and had no intention to throw the ball :)

The maidens had some turnovers because of GFI in the blizzard. They managed to score the first TD.
WIth a lot of luck I managed to make it 1-1 in round 8.

In the second half I had a lot of trouble picking up the ball. When I finally had the ball in my hands I miscalculated my moves and had 1 MA short to try and make a TD. My thrower did a pass to a skeleton and he actually managed to catch it :o.

For me it was a really fun game.

So ended our first game in a blizzard, I foolishly did attempt to set up long passes which cost me a turnover in the 2nd half ;). All in all I'd say it was a deserved draw, we have 2 blitzers mng (one actually got a -1 str but the apo saved that). On the plus side our winnings were 80k, so we can buy us another blitzer :)
A word of warning, one does not simply tackle a tombraider.

Ok there's got to be something up with our league and fertility; a league mate just has a kid and now my wife is preggers.

CSPVG and me managed to play our match today without Internet problems. The halflings fought bravely (and their treemen turned out to be monsters), but the Good Old Ghouls managed to achieve a 2-1 victory.

Hero of the match was JawC Dental (Wight), who scored both touchdowns for our team.

Fool of the match was Zombic the Hodgepodge, who allowed himself to be killed before he could even move, and failed his regeneration roll as well.

The two mummies, Puke Nukem and Mummy Kong, also performed rather poorly. In the first half, they failed to score a single casualty against low-AV halflings, almost all of their block rolls were skulls or pushes. In the second half, both got ko'ed in the first turn, and both subsequently failed every single recovery roll they had.

In the end I played with 6 players against a full swarm of halflings. I was lucky that the match didn't go on for longer.
