If everything goes according to plan, the game between Afnord's Chaos Dwarves and my Underworld team should start in about 30 minutes.

Match ended 1-1. There was lots of fouling. As Afnord explained it was because in-character and Hobgoblins need to foul. He then fouled with his Dwarves.
At the end of the match he told me that at least there were no permanent injuries. I think he meant his team as mine suffered permanent injuries. o_0

I need to talk about dodging with my Gobbos. Again.
In general my team seems to suffer from are-those-my-feet?-disease. Which is kind of understandable with mutants but still needs to be worked on.

I did not actually see that your player got injured. I scanned through the downed ones but I must have missed the one that lost 1 MA (I checked your list afterwards).

And sorry about the fouling, but I kinda need to keep a team like yours down, otherwise you'll just run in circles around me. Same with elves & regular Skaven, I need to get an early numerical advantage, otherwise I stand no chance. I usually just foul with my hobgoblins, as losing a dwarf due to the ref noticing me fouling is a bit too expensive (and hobgoblins are, in the fluff, depicted as being without moral, and in 3rd edition BB (at least with some expansion rule) they could even bring punch daggers to the game), but sometimes that's the right tactical decisions.

Look, if you say that you'll foul tactically, that's completely fine. If you say that you just like to hurt opposing players, that's also fine. It's Blood Bowl after all.
But first coming with the fluff that Hobgobbos need to foul and then using your Dwarves just ... makes like you were looking for some kind of justification beyond that and then didn't go through with it.
And you had your early numerical advantage btw.
Also about "a team like yours" - I play Underworld. That's not really a threatening team. It's a fun team like Gobbos, Halflings, Vampires and Ogres. And without enough re-rolls (which you successfully stole) the team doesn't work too well anyway.
Relax. If you want to foul, foul. But I really think you're over-thinking this.

I can take a good beating, I had a lot of those with this team. I think even in my last match against Zeta one of my players (a Skaven) died in turn 1 and I took it with humor.
But if I feel like somebody's is trying to play me for stupid ("I need to foul with Hobgoblins, it's their nature." Then uses Dwarves. - "I need numerical advantage." Already has it.) I get slightly pissed.

DodoGeo had some Internet issues and we lost connection on the second half, so we have to try again later. It might take to Tuesday evening, though.

I did foul in order to win, and I'm sorry if my pre-game banter came off as me trying to make it sound like I was only doing it for fluffy reasons. I do care about the fluff though (being a long time Warhammer player and all), and as silly as it is, and I do enjoy it when I can do the tactically "correct" thing and at the same time play in a way that fits the fluff. That's part of the reason why I was interested in Chaos Dwarves, because they allowed for this.

And your team is so developed that, even if it's a "fun" team at its core, you can still out-play me like a Skaven with all that dodging and superior ball handling.

It wasn't without reason. I wanted to get out of reach of most of your players. It was borderline tile for at least 2 of yours players and only one could get to him if he succeeded and that would have to dodge from other player.

But yes, it went much better for me this time. Good bounce and better blocks this time (although I had very bad start of second half but it got salavaged eventually).
MafiaK got no SPP except MVP for his thrower. I injured 3 of his players and got 2 TD's. I had only that self-inflicted BH and that's it.

ArnoB and myself just ended a hell of a game.
Featuring 7 Injuries .. one Dead Goblin 6 Touchdowns .. some flying Goblins almost two one turners and many crazy stuff

All in all it ended in a 1-5 Victory for the green ones .... ähhm the bigger green ones ..
