This match with my High Elves was more like I expected this team to work. Or better: Not work.
I was swarmed by double 1s, my Blitzer died, the journeyman got the MVP, and I got 10k in winnings. :-D

The result of the match was 0-2 for Rod's Chaos Dwarves. You know, the team called "Religiously Unlucky".

I have to say I'm really unimpressed with AV8. After playing Underworld and Skaven I thought AV8 would somehow be more stable than AV7. But apparently not. AV8 - not as good as advertised.

Oh well, it will get better. If it could get better with Underworld (and it did) it can get better with High Elves.

You have to RMA it.

In S4 with ST3 & AV8 i got 1 dead and one resign. suppose i got lucky. Lets if Nuffle will return the interest this season ;)

We just finished our game 2:0 for Khorne..

To describe the game i´d like to quote Andy Brehme, a famous german Soccer Player
(roughly translated )

"If you got shit on your shoe .. you´ve got Shit on your shoe ..."

This. This is why I don't play elves. My style of play is such that if a double 1 occurs, I'm heavily, heavily behind. Also, sorry to hear that.

Khorne's Taz'dingo pulls out a very convincing 2 - 0 win against the orcs, in the first half, my bloodthisther checked his orc thrower so well, he got badly hurt (no injury) I think, this was key to me winning the game.

He and a cultist got Koe'd, but they recovered for the 2nd half.

In the 2nd half, my khorne tried to play the throwing game, failing 3 catches, and 1 handover. But on turn 16, a throw and catch finally went through, scoring a touchdown.

Welcome back!

The game between DodoGeo's chaos team and my orcs ended in a 1-1 draw, my second in a row.
And once again it was because each team had their own half.

I was really lucky in the first half, scoring early on and easily stopping the chaos counterattack, while holding my own in terms of bashing power.
In the second half, things turned around and DodoGeo had little trouble crushing my defensive line and scoring on turn 15.

Once again, inducements failed to make up for the huge spp difference between the 2 teams imo though that was partly my fault, as I wasted my wizard through a misclick.
The halfling chef only stole 1 reroll, however, and my star player was useful as a defender but spent most of his time on his back. He also stole the Man of the Match (and I really could have used the spp).



Anyway, I'll upload the replay to the temp folder in a minute.

just finished my game vs dodo
final result 2 : 0 in my favor after he left the game on turn 10? ( was 1:0 for me there ) and 3 player left i guess.

for me the leave was bad cause i wanted to score 2-3 times after and beat some more of his chaos.
( if he had stayed it would have given me alot more spp i guess )

but i can fully understand that he left with this few player remaining and both of his apos used.

guess i have to reconsider norse for next season. AV7 wouldnt matter with all the claw we have around these days...

woodie-humie match about to start!

After 16 turns of rain, human emerge victorious 2-1 ...but only barely.

The whole game was just rain. Every kick of was good for duder one way or the other. Twice he got extra rerolls, blitz on defense and twice the ball scatter straight to his thrower who naturally picked it straight up.

I on the other hand managed to push the lone wardance off the pitch on 2nd or 3rd turn or so and she got immediately CAS'ed and was out the game. Woodies suffered further 2 CAS during the match and multiple KO's - but yet managed to cling to the ball pretty well.

In the last couple turn woodies managed to pass some 1/3 off the pitch and almost score in the last turn - but luckily my blitzer + ogre combo managed to smack him to astrogranite with reroll.

quite nice and close match.

Also duder got block for his tree. i wonder if ill get one for my ogre eventually ;)
