I deleted the match that was there twice. :-)
After brutally beating the Chaos Dwarves from pillar to post, the Halfling Scourge had a moment of civility, as Ivar the Pantless ordered roughly 80% of the squad to retire from the field as a token of good will. The cowardly Chaos Dwarves took advantage to score three times as a result, but true victory is not determined by score but by fighting prowess and ability!

All Hail Our Halfling Overlords!
Where are we at with prize distribution for S4, guys?

Haven't seen anything about it for a while. :)

We are still waiting for Jolly to take his pick. Since it's been 4 days now - does anybody know him personally and could give him a nudge?

My latest update was posted here.

I have Jolly as contact on Steam. If I see him there, I'll poke him.
Edit: I got hold of him and he'll choose a prize later today.

Your best chance is probably to msg him "enough" even if he is in offline mode - he will read them eventually ;)
Btw, here's a question I wanted to ask the other coaches from the last season:

Since we all played new teams last season, did your new team fare as you expected? WHat surprised you about it, and did you learn something new about that team?

Obviously, I'm very positively surprised by the success of my 'zons. I knew that they are considered a strong team in low TV leagues, but I hadn't expected them to be _that_ strong. The thing that surprised me most was, probably, their versatility.

With all players having Dodge, I could play them like slightly clumsy elves against bashy teams (outrunning them when I had the ball, passing when the opportunity arose). And with four players having quick access to Guard (and everyone else taking Block as first pick), I could play them like slightly fragile dwarves against non-bashy teams. They don't really excel at either style, but being able to switch playing styles is an asset in itself, and having lots of cheap re-rolls helped mitigating the risks. I was probably a bit lucky with injuries, though having Dodge all around also helps with preventing those.

What was your impression of your team? :)

Thongs of doom & despair

Well, my bloodthirster caused 2 CAS during the whole season - that pretty much sums it. Lots of noise, little impact ;)

There were only couple games where i -really- got to utilize the frenzy in proper manner. What hold me back alot was that i had trouble gaining assist edge for the crucial 2dice frenzy blocks. I think i had one guard player by the end of the season. Khorne Heralds and Bloodletters didnt really develope.

I think Khorne would be fun team after you have some guard, because unless you have any, its very risky with 1 dice and the fact everyone must follow-up all the time.

Not as fun team as the vamps were, but nice experience nontheless. Also far more difficult to control in my opinion. Despite vamps had bloodlust, they also had usually strength and/or agility advantage + hypno, something that khorne lacks absolutely.

atm id probably rather continue with vamps or start new vamp team than get back to khorne....then again, i think there are more than few teams i want to play with before getting back to vamps :)

edit: norse with their 5 frenzy seems pretty nice in my eyes atm.

I was VERY surprised about my Cheezemongerz (Skaven). I really didn't expect to do so well with them.

I find that Skaven are a very forgiving team. If you mess up, you can often fix it because those Gutter Runners just have an amazing reach. And after playing Underworld for three seasons I wasn't really worried about players getting hurt.
I had a lot of fun and enjoyed my matches.

And all that gave me heart to try a (for me) completely new team this season, that might be very frustrating: High Elves. :-)

Well since it's my turn and I don't want to keep others waiting, I'll quickly pick Papers, please.

As for my orc team Deathly Spores, they performed about as well as I expected, outbashing most teams and being very good in defence whenever the dice didn't screw them over.
They weren't nearly as resilient as I would have liked in most games, however, and they were slower to skill up than I thought.
I guess that leaves me next.

I would like Legends of Dawn (Steam), donated by Mystral please.

Psyringe: -words omitted-
The Anti-Puff Party amounted to about what I expected. Had some terrible games due to mass injuries (AV7 can do that to ya) and a lack of ability to hit back.

Wardancers are a hell of a lot of fun to play with, and I used leap maliciously when i could. Made for some pretty fun plays, and my game with Jolly will always be near and dear to my heart. Never thought i'd say that about an Orc team either haha.
