I just lost my match against Hawk52 1:2. That Tackle + Block combination on chaos dwarves is annoying.

The game with Morbi was a good match. Bad luck hit Morbi early allowing me to get the ball and score in the first half. In the second, I played really conservatively maintaining ball control for most of the half until I scored again. Morbi got a last turn score by hurling a goblin to my endzone.

Very brutal match on both sides too, hopefully both teams will bounce back.

Unfortunately a very short game (three turns) ending with a concede. I had tremendous luck with the block dice and had floored every player on his team by turn two I think. Not a nice position to be in. Lots of turnovers on his side didn't help either.

Just for clarification. Hes a good friend of mine and he had some "luck" issues in the last 5(?) matches. I.E.every action, which involved the ball, seemed to fail, getting injured or KO´d on nearly every single Block, unable to dodge etc.

Dunno, if it really was unluck or bad handling of his team in the different matchups. Now it seems like he has lost all interest in BloodBowl and our little league here. Unfortunately :(

If you see him let him know I'm more than willing to do some practice matches with him. To be honest, to me it seems less like a luck problem and more like a "Tacklezones, What stinkin' tacklezones?" problem. He is basically completely ignoring them when moving. Just looking at his first turn:

Player 1: 1D Block (With Block)
Player 2: 2x dodge in one TZ; 2x dodge in free zone. Overall Probability of success: 30%
Player 3: 3x dodge in one TZ; 1x dodge in free zone; 1x dodge in two TZ; 1x dodge in three TZ. Overall Probability of success: 2% (and he actually succeeded here!)
Player 4: 2x dodge in one TZ; 1x dodge in free zone; 1x dodge in two TZ; Overall Probability of success: 10% (This was the first team RR and turnover)

The other turns had a total probability (With both dodge and team RR) of 38% and 31% respectively :-(.

I was very sorry to hear - i send him some message, hopefully he is not taking all of this too hard way.

Anyway Id be most happy if Ninjada sticks around, even if he doesnt want to finish the season.. Second season will begin eventually and also its possible to play in the open league as much as one wants.

If anyone feels like they have trouble understanding what is happening on the pitch and why, i wouldnt mind at all playing kind of "practice matches" and going through the ropes and ideas. Not that i am super player myself, but i guess i have decent understand of most of the stuff.

I hope he will still change his mind though! Be it autowin or possible rematch - i just hope he wont unnecessarily stress it. Because afterall, its just one match. In a computer game.
Hi - thank you for the offer, but as far as i know it is impossible to take teams mid season. Ofcourse after the current season ends, we are going to start the second season and people can choose whether to continue with old teams or start with fresh teams. And ofcourse at that point we are also taking in new players.

As written in the first post - most of us here are adults with adult lives and limited time, so its understandable if everyone is eventually going to miss some matches for whatever reason and thats fine. ...it would however be good manners to inform the opponent of this as soon as possible and it will count as autowin for the opponents advantage - unless the opponent is in same situation and game is declared draw.

Anyways, we are trying to put the emphasis on *fun* -> but blood bowl being bloody and everything, i do hope ag7 / stunty team coaches understand what the risks involved. Durability can be unexpectedly fun...

With Blood Bowl, you have to be willing to learn. That includes outside research and practice games. If you don't put in the time to understand mechanics, you're not gonna have any fun whatsoever because you don't understand what's going on.

I just levelled my players up, got two lucky doubles, quite curious how the skills are going to affect the game

My advice is: for starters only buy 1 vampire and 6 rerolls.

Further into the league you might want to buy another one, but I advise strongly against it.
